Reviewed By chetanb30Vatsyana resort markets itself as luxury resort and truth is that it is located in mountains where there is actually nothing to see around as in middle of nowhere...there is very less green cover n barren mountains ..I must say that local staff is very kind n nice ..really hospitality...issue besides of being at a lonely place is major ...u only get meals at hotel as nothing 50km around ...food quality n selection is bad in a way that tasteless n bad combination. Ex- on high tea u get bread pakoda / samosa and biscuits..only 2 items ..food layout good but no taste at all ..the chef Mr Rawat is a very courteous n kind man ..he prepared 2 dishes in buffet on my request and they were really yum but rest sad ..others must have relished too. I felt the problem is with owners as they have a very dedicated staff and I would call them above average ..problem lies with owners as the budget n all on food and facilities is decided by them and what can staff do ..I felt do though no one said so . They charged me 15000 for a room per night n I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but because of selection of food ..I'm unhappy as no options around at all and stuck at resort only .. I see most people visiting from nearby towns and I'm bold to say that people from cities like Delhi can be fooled for once by looking at the beautiful pics they send but nothing same . Rooms n washroom is above expectations n relay nice but food is sick ..delhi wallah won't like surely . Let's hope some new resorts opens nearby and serves good food ..I won't go or recommend anyone to go to " Vatsyayana resort " but I salute the beautiful n dedicated staff plus chef Rawat jee..

Reviewed By vasuparashar1. Breakfast starts at 9am and is open until 10:30am. Dinner starts at 9:00pm (though they claim it is 7:30pm). If you are not OK with it then don't go. 2. Pictures are very old, property is managed by limited staff which shows in how things are managed. Even reception has dust all around. Rooms are in bad shape. 3. I stayed with 5-6 spiders in the room. They were all around - Bathing area, washing area, behind mirror, at TV Unit, at entry door, at almirah. 4. While people visiting need to have ettiquetes but hotel should also have rule. I couldn't sleep for 2 days due to loud music by my neighbour in the night, and the next day a group was partying with noise and loud music until 4am. 5. Had to make calls on each day for water, tea-coffee, room cleaning, towel change. 6. Location is good. All rooms face north-west, so you can enjoy a good sunset. 7. Staff is helpful though.

Road to resort : Last 4-5Km road to resort is worst.. no road only stones n mud. you can damage your car very easily. Exterior : broken roof which can fell anytime.. dirty pathways.. non working amenities.. broken trails and roads Interior : Dusty rooms, mold everywhere.. no basic toiletries.. rooms were full of foul smell, issues with the electricity, spent whole night without electricity.. Amenities listed: WiFi - Not working BBQ - Not available Bonfire - Not available SPA - Not working Game room - Not working TV - not working Food: Very very very expensive as they know that you're trapped and can't go anywhere. Only Plus: Support staff..they were trying their best to give us good hospitality but there were so many issues in the property.

Reviewed By rajangWe stayed at one of the beaver bungalows. They are roomy, nice interior. It was weekend, the place was crammed. You could hear people talking until the early morning hours. Taking a shower proved to be difficult, suddenly the water stopped completly and I was still full of soap.... Beside that everthing else was up to our expectations. Clean, nice staff. The Indian food we had was good (buffett style). The surroundings are very nice and it is easely to make walks into the surroundings. Good birding. Close to Corbett National Park gate. Stayed one night.
