Schöne Anlage, ziemlich abgehalftert
Reviewed By ArminJ_13scheint die letzte noch halbwegs intakte Unterkunft in Karonga zu sein. Bäder ziemlich heruntergekommen, Dach in Zimmer 5 (?) war undicht. Restaurant betont langsam, aber sehr freundlich. Es gibt Chambo (Fisch), Chicken oder Omelette im Wechsel zu Pommes, Reis oder Sima.

Newly built lodge on the shores of fresh water of Lake Malawi specialized in providing immaculate accommodation while providing customers with fresh water fish dishes, beach and water sports.
Better than expected
Reviewed By keepcyclingThis lodge is beautifully located and maintained. Lovely rooms (with air-con, fan, hot shower and mine even had a fridge) looking out over a well maintained garden, with roaming peacocks (though could be noisy at times!). Found it difficult to make contact and book, but I just turned up and it was fine, Think there are 10/12 rooms. Service was ok though slow. Dinner was either fish/chicken with rice/chips, breakfast was chips (!), sausage and egg of your choice, plus bread/cereal and tea/coffee. Served in a banda overlooking the lake. Mostly seems to be used by the locals as several day/evening visitors. Swimming is possible though does not seem as clean as some places on lake malawi. For single occupancy rate was 25,000 Kwacha a night, which included breakfast. No wifi. I enjoyed my time here and feel the place has a lot of potential if advertised better online and with a better menu!

Nice location - but book online to get a reasonable price
Reviewed By ColdingsI stayed here one night and unfortunately was charged an excessive price of (88$) as my room had been booked expensively by an international development organization. Book directly online and get the more reasonable price which should around 50-60$ which is a more realistic reflections of the value. Food OK, pool nice, beach nice, breakfast acceptable but many, many miniature flies all over. Rooms OK. Just get the price right. PS: the announced wifi did not work.
