Reviewed By Arbalest789Very pleasant room in a quiet location. The 2 things that stood out for me was the friendly helpfulness of the staff (especially a lady called Judith) and the superb quality of the food in the restaurant. I had the tenderest Wiener Schnitzel I have ever eaten.

Impressive start - dire ending!
Reviewed By dom_marshall080We stayed here after winning a two night stay package (Groupon backed). We were welcomed warmly, bags carried to our room by the owner! A welcome drink, bottle of wine with a four course evening meal on the first night. Booked our free massage for Saturday afternoon...had a superb breakfast. Went to enjoy old Nordlingen, which was fantastic. We noticed that preparations for a wedding were being set up, but thought nothing of it. Went for dinner in Nordlingen on Saturday evening, to arrive back at the hotel to find a wedding party & very loud disco in full swing, right under our room. We hoped it might end at a reasonable hour, but after being unable to sleep, we left at 0200. No phone in the room to complain. When we left, there was no apparent staff in reception either! We left the keys and tourist tax fee on the desk. I notice another reviewer on booking.com had a similar 'wedding experience' and the noise didn't stop until 0430!!!! Why did they put us in that room?? This hotel is a combination of buildings, part function rooms, part wedding venue/group dining room. Not quite sure what it's trying to be, but in my opinion, it let us down terribly. A shame, as it all started so well, dispelling our fears from other reviewers. It's plus side are the great view from its terrace and good food. Other minuses were the limited parking, Wifi was very weak, unless near reception. No air conditioning in the room and the shower didn't drain away fast enough, it just poured onto the floor. If you must stay here, ask if there are any parties or functions happening first! If you win a Groupon deal to stay here, see if you can change it! Gutted,what a disappointment, after such a great start.

Reviewed By BroonaldoArrived late around 9.30 pm but check in was quick and flawless. Was given Room 19, second (top) floor and was very big. No kettle in the room though but you were able to get hot water from the bar. Breakfast was good, decent variety, costs €7 which is well worth it. All fresh produce. Had dinner on first night (kitchen closes at 10) very enjoyable. See pictures. Check out perfect. Lovely situated in old town square.

Nice quiet hotel
Reviewed By Geri301I've been there on a training and spent almost a week in the hotel. The single room was rather small but provided all the comfort one needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they are always available. The restaurant provides a great selection of food and is very good. The hotel has a conference room and free wifi with excellent connection. Ideal for the solo traveller and for larger groups as well. If you arrive on motorbike you can keep your bike safe and dry in the shed behind the hotel. Thank you for the stay ;)

Reviewed By DutchBikervery friendly and helpfull staff. We had diner in the restaurant of the hotel. Ok but nothing special. We were late for breakfast (our fault) but they went out of their way to serve us a nice breakfast which we enjoyed on the terrace.
