Perched over the hills surrounding lake Siljan, this (luxury) hotel offers a great base from which to explore this area that happens to be the cradle of Swedish culture. Tällberg, Rättvik, Nusnäs, Orsa, Mora, Leksand… The combination of good sized rooms, a modern spa, hiking trails, a nice restaurant and plenty of seating areas to read a book or enjoy a Fika, make this an idilic location, with or without children.

Cozy, homey, fresh bathroom, a real double bed (not the usual two singles beds put together), breakfast with freshly baked breads (very delicious), drinks available for sale, very friendly and helpful hosts, and with very lovely view of Lake Siljan from our room (with balcony), from the sauna, from breakfast area, from garden. Breathtaking view. This accommodation is not in the smack of the other available accommodations in Tällberg which gives the guests privacy, and "real" Tällberg feeling. The place is very relaxing. We would definitely return someday.

A property that needs to upgrade it's furniture!!
Reviewed By 261archanakA property with very good service and reviews...sadly the chair in our room was broken with the springs hurting the derriere. The sofa was uncomfortable. The bed was ok. The jacuzzi was the best part. The room did not have a kettel to heat water ...I would have really appreciated it especially with the cold weather. The room cleaning did not replace used glasses. So a lot left to be desired!!

Nice location in Tällberg
Reviewed By ScaniaSwedeGot one of the 2 rooms in a separate building. Apart from the hotel, there are also small cottages suitable for families. The breakfast buffet was good and in good weather it’s possible to sit outside on the small terrace. In the evening we ate a burger which was a disappointment. It didn’t feel home made, but more like it had come straight from the freezer to the frying pan. Location is excellent and the view over the big lawns beautiful. There’s a big terrace, where guests can overlook the nice views. One afternoon a deer was crossing the car park.
