Superb hotel
Reviewed By STSTST75008We had a lovely stay at the Federwerk hotel. We had 2 rooms side by side because we have 2 kids. The rooms are spacious, very clean (the hotel is new, only 2 years). The staff was very kind and polite. We had a dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious ( we are french and the quality of the cooking is really important). Congratulation to The Chef! The breakfast in the Covid 19 environnement was very good, they had a very good process, very safe for the guests and the staff. All was perfect for out stay in this hotel. We will comeback in the coming years surelly.

Reviewed By shersharWe stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, with 2 young children. Location is great, up to an hour drive through breathtaking views to most major Black Forest attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious, ours had a small balcony with an amazing view of the forest. The Will couple, owners of the hotel, are so hospitable- they brought special things for the kids to eat at breakfast, gave us helpful recommendations and tips, and really went above and beyond to make our vacation pleasant and special. Highly recommended and no doubt we'll be staying there again,

Relaxing rural retreat!
Reviewed By HBB85Hotel Rosengarten is situated in a very quiet countryside location with plenty of free parking available; we saw a deer as we drove up to the hotel! Our room was beamed and had a charming rustic feel. The en suite was small with limited shelving space but was very clean and modern and benefited from a bath and separate shower cubicle. The lobby is filled with interesting objects and leads to the bright and airy breakfast room. The service at breakfast was good; the pastries were quickly replenished (which was a relief!!) and the breakfast items were tasty - particularly the cereal mix - but perhaps the selection could have been more extensive, as there was only one type of pastry and limited hot food choices. The hotel also boasts a small, comfortable bar area with waiter service, ideal for a drink before dinner! All in all, a pleasant hotel in a picturesque countryside setting :-)

Reviewed By gottmeinwasistI reserved this hotel based on previous reviews and the need to be in the area overnight. We arrived at 1500 (coincidentally the stated check-in time) to find noone on the hotel premises. In fact, the hotel itself is somewhat "hidden" by the restaurant. We meandered in what we presumed to be the entrance, to find a key box system with key instructions for the booked rooms. Um, ok. Not expecting to check ourselves in, but ok. We walked up the 2 flights of stairs to our room...passing several rooms with open doors and unmade beds. Of course, when we reached our space, the room was not made. We spoke with the restaurant staff, who have nothing to do with the hotel operations but who were able to provide an internet access code---to allow me to cancel the booking. Cannot review much more than a very cold arrival to a room which wasn't prepared (also, this was on a Fri night---so it's not that they had a big turnover of people from the previous night). In addition, the breakfast "room" had a long row of steel food warmers set up for the next day's breakfast and a very uninviting atmosphere.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr bequemen Betten
Reviewed By villa-almunecarGeschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr gut geschlafen, super Frühstück mit sehr großer Auswahl. Nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Zentrale aber sehr ruhige Lage. Gerne wieder, da Preis-Leistungs-Verhaeltnis sehr gut.
