Basic Motel with great service
Reviewed By Pad00I stayed a few nights in July 2019 for business. The good: a) The service is great. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The staff at reception were very helpful and nothing was an issue when I needed something i.e. Iron, water etc b) Location. There is not much to choose in Leipheim but the location is a bonus as it right next to the Danube river (2 min walk). The walk along the river is beautiful. The not so good: I was in Leipheim when it was well above 30 degree Celsius during the day. The rooms have no air conditioning so my room felt like a sauna. I could open the window fully at night so it became very uncomfortable during the evening.

Reviewed By V FLocation ok in the industrial area. Convenience Stores and Strand nearby. Super, very clean rooms, equipped with large fridge with freezer, mini kitchen. Very practical Check in. Superok price. Free parking. Perfect for a visit to LEGOLAND.

Haven in the Bavarian countryside
Reviewed By Motuman1Very quaint hotel in the countryside just outside Leipheim. Bedrooms had lots of wood so felt like you are in a farmhouse but modern at the same time. Restaurant was pleasant and the staff were great. Big garden area for relaxing or dining. Great forest or countryside walks at your doorstep.

Reviewed By TripperDay3Fair play if you're tired and want somewhere to sleep on your journey, this place will do the job. You have to book your room in the middle of the service station shop, so queue up with your coca colas. The prices are cheap as chips but you get a room and breakfast for your money. The room was okay, the beds are very old. Mine had a big dip in it where your hips go. So I tried to take comfort in the fact that many many people had been in it before me. Bathroom very basic but clean enough. Breakfast system was a bit random, you were given a ticket but woe betide you if you chose an almond croissant over a standard one because they are apparently not allowed. Luckily I got away with it!! The lady we booked with was very pleasant. To sum up, very basic if you're desperate but don't book this as a pre planned holiday stopover

Reviewed By steffen_schmahlWir waren mit unserem 4-jährigen Sohn für 5 Tage auf diesem wunderbaren Campingplatz. Für Kinder ist das ein wahres Paradies. Trotz Corona hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit. Klar hängt die Sicherheit hauptsächlich an der Vernunft der Camper, von Seiten des Campingplatzes wird jedoch vieles hierfür getan. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben, das Personal war sehr sehr nett und freundlich. Die Spiel- und Entdeckungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder machen den Aufenthalt zu einem gelungenen Gesamtpaket auch für die Eltern. Wir können den Schwarzfelder Hof wirklich weiter empfehlen!
