Reviewed By Roadwarrior1000This hotel is located Just over an hours drive north of Frankfurt. We found the staff to be very pleasant, and the restaurant has good food. Lots of areas to walk around in the immediate vicinity. The town of Laubach is about a 20 minute walk, and has three excellent cafés for kuchen und cafe !

Friendly and very comfortable
Reviewed By TacomaTraveler2013On our visit to Laubach we stayed here and felt very comfortable and the staff took time to get to know us. The rooms were spacious and we had a deck off our room that looked out toward the hills. He staff also provided us ideas for what to do while visiting. The staff also helped us arrange for a tour of the town and the guide that recommended was great. In fact one night we were the only guests and they still provided a large breakfast.

Tolle Lage, nett eingerichtet
Reviewed By veit-u-susanneEine sehr schöne Pension. Das Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Sehr nette Eigentümer. Einzige negative Punkte: vor dem Fenster ist eine Laterne und am Freitag früh wurden die Mülltonnen abgeholt. Nebenan in der Seligmacherei gibt es das Frühstück. Es wurde alles an den Tisch gebracht. Es war eine sehr große Auswahl an herzhaften Sachen.

Reviewed By Phil542013This is a clean property and well-maintained. I have stayed several times during business trips. Though the location is "out-of-the-way" it is very quiet. Next door is a large forest with hiking trails for relaxation.The food is excellent with a good selection.The owner is always available to assist in any way he can.

Reviewed By Ralf LFür ein kleines Klassentreffen konnten wir einen passenden Tisch im Alt-Laubach reservieren. Es war, soviel schon einmal vorausgeschickt, ein guter Abend. Das Essen: Das Essen kam für alle gleichzeitig nach überraschend kurzer Zeit. Es war alles frisch, heiß und wohlschmeckend. Auch Abweichungen vom Standard der in der Speisekarte wurden gut und professionell erledigt. Der Service: Wir wurden schnell, kompetent und freundlich bedient. Die Getränke waren alle frsich eingeschenkt, die Weinempfehlung passte. Das Ambiente: Der Tisch war schön eingedeckt, alles war sauber, hell und freundlich. Fazit: Es hat sich gelohnt, im Alt-Laubach zu reservieren.
