Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Hellendoorn is situated in the historical village of Hellendoorn, close to Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. The hotel offers several facilities, like a sauna and solarium. All the comfortable room have a private bathroom with bath. Every morning a breakfast buffet is served. Have a drink and a snack at the patio or cozy bar. Also the beautiful garden is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink. And for a delicious dinner you can go to the restaurant of the hotel. Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park is only a few minutes away. Here you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and this magnificent nature reserve is ideal for cycling and hiking to your heart's content. Also if you would like to visit a museum or go shopping is this the right spot, cities like Zwolle and Deventer are close by.

Reviewed By SilverLineNLStayed here for one night. Staff was friendly, food was good. The room was a bit tired and in need of renovation. The bed had seen better days and wasn’t comfortable anymore. It was a hot day, 27 degrees celsius, and there was no way of cooling the room. You could open the patio door but there was a direct, unobstructed path that led to the street. That made us too uncomfortable to sleep with the door open. After renovation and added air conditioning it would be a great place to stay. I did have to correct some stuff on our bill otherwise they would have overcharged us about 90 euros. But they corrected it right away and apologized and I do believe this was a human error instead of trying to con us out of some extra cash.

Nice accommodation but poor service at the restaurant
Reviewed By famLin-hoWe took a long weekend there with our daughter of three years old. The studio was nicely decorated with sufficient kitchenware. Nice bathroom. No air-conditioning and little windows to open that it can get very warm on a sunny day. The swimming pool was good to swimming but it has no guard and no other fun things to play with for kids so keep that in mind. We decided to have a family dinner in the restaurant. Just that the waiting time for our main course after the appetizers was more than an hour which was ridiculous. No one came to our table to let us know what was going on and we went asking for our food three times and each time we were told it was coming. We asked for our dessert right after the main course as we didn't want to wait further. But that also took over 15 mins. We asked for a children's ice cream and they came with caramel taste and raspberry taste. Not something very common for kids so we adults ate that eventually. We were told they would check what they could do for us but nothing happened. The restaurant manager asked us on our way out how it was and so we repeatedly say it took too long. She said she would pass it onto the chef. During check out we were asked again how everything was so we repeated the story but they were displeased that we put our review onto their Facebook page. Well they had been given many chances to make up for it by either going for a free drink round or whatsoever. So real shame that is.

Reviewed By wvredeveldtThis B&B was perfect for us. The villa looks great and feels cosy and stylish and has forest views! Every room has it’s own shower (with shower gel and shampoo). You will also find a safe in the room. There is a shared livingroom. The villa is surrounded by forest, so take your walkingshoes and (mountain)bike with you (you can also hire a bike). A few minutes down the street is a little chocolate factory, where you can sit down and have a taste of the delicious bonbons, while overlooking the work in the factory. One of the owners, Lianne, is organising creative workshops. Check her website kleurrijkekunst.nl or ask her about it when your there! The owners are very friendly and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and excellent. You don’t have to be up at eight, you can have it at the time you like. You can also make use of the kitchen for diner if you like, or go out to eat.
