Had a amazing night
Reviewed By evergreenparkWe had a amazing night at the Hotel Ochsen on the 18 October 2019 . The owners are very friendly and very hard working. The Hotel was very clean and very traditional , bright and warm. Breakfast was superb with many different products from this area. Our room was 109 it was a room to the back of the hotel, bright and quiet, the bathroom had under floor heating which was fantastic. We definitely go again.

Reviewed By DaniaSapwe were guests of the Gasthouse Eisberg. The hotel room was clean and fit to everything you would need for a one night stay. Pay attention to the check in times as they are restricted. The assistant was very clear and kind to us. Reception is located downstairs which was a bit odd to find. Unfortunately when we arrived, the parking place was full as it is shared with the nearby restaurant so we had to find another solution. We were however lucky to get a nearby parking place. The only annoyance is that there is no breakfast facility and there is no cafe nearby to get anything in the morning. We decided to drive directly to Baden-Baden for having breakfast and do some sight seeing.

Our hotel offers a Restaurant and a separate room for smaller parties till 40 persons. We have also a eventroom for 80 persons. Well suited to the nearby amusement park Europa Park (20 minutes)or groups on motorcycle tour. Child-friendly, easy access by bus. Messe Offenburg is only 10 minutes by car.
Very very disappointed
Reviewed By evergreenparkHad a 2 night stay booked on the internet in the Hotel Krone, Friesenheim, my thoughts was this is traditional Gasthof but what a disappointment. The room was basic but had a very wired decor silver wallpaper and yellow carpet. The TV Channels was either Chinese or Russian no English Channels. Breakfast was not good at all , the fried eggs had a crust on top of it , it seemed they was done hours ago. Coffee was out of a machine and was not good at all. There was no traditional breads from the region at all. After 2 nights we changed to the Hotel Ochsen which was only over the street . What a different`s it made, it was beautiful and clean light and fresh, breakfast superb we definitive go again.

Reviewed By TheAdvisorZI apologize to any non English speakers, but this is much easier to explain in my first language. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I can not describe to you how awful it was: everything you do not want in a buisness. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes before a member of staff even noticed us. We managed to get the order through to one of the waiters, although this came with its fair share of problems as the waiter serving us didnt even seem to understand German, let alone English. We waited over an hour to get completely average food. They served 3 out of the 4 of us food. We seemed to excuse this as maybe that food just took a little longer to cook (bearing in mind we had already waited for over an hour) but no, they just did not serve this food at all. The staff we unwelcoming and rude. We decided to cancel the order, but the waiter decided to throw the food down on the table, saying something along the lines of: "well you ordered it!". I was disgusted by the way she and the other staff treated me and my family. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING HERE, UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE IGNORED AND BE DISRESPECTED. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE RESTAURANT.
