Very dirty rooms and bad attitude of staff
Reviewed By Mrins01Bad service and attitude and very dirty rooms. I booked directly with them through the website. We asked 48h beforehand for the Corona regulations. A trainee answered my email stating the regulations and we made sure to comply with them. We were surprised to find completely different regulations when arriving. I completely understand that the governments regulations might change, or trainees might not be up to the current situation. What was remarkable was the clerks attitude and service. Quote: „it’s not my responsibility at all to assist or inform guests about the regulations“. Do you not want travelers to visit your hotel? Now, checking in, we saw gross ashes in the bathroom under the vent - see photo. We also found that many of the visitors and cleaning staff were not wearing masks the next day. Not recommended! All I ask when away from home is a clean room and staff who would be glad to assist someone away from home!

Reviewed By alaincarlierI stayed for one night in a one-bed room with a shower. Decent and clean room. Exellent breakfast. Classic German restaurant. Hotels which are in the countryside but near a big city are allways a lot cheaper.

Moin in unserem Nordheidequartier. Wir sind Christine und Jan Philip und wir begrüßen Euch herzlichst hier bei uns im Flair Hotel Zur Eiche in Buchholz. Wir führen unser Landhotel und das Restaurant Henry´s zusammen in der fünften Generation als Geschwister – Familienbande und legen viel Wert auf eine entspannte und herzliche Atmosphäre. Euer Nordheide-Quartier liegt direkt am Ende der ersten Etappe des Heidschnuckenweges und ist somit der beste Ort für eine Rast oder für eine gemütliche Übernachtung auf der Wanderung. Für Geschäftsreisende ist unser Wohlfühl-Hotel mit der Nähe zu Hamburg eine gute Möglichkeit, den Arbeitstag entspannt und genussvoll bei uns im Restaurant Henry’s mit regionalen und nachhaltigen Köstlichkeiten ausklingen zu lassen. Basic friendly Gasthaus for overnight stay
Reviewed By JarimallaThe best value for this small hotel is that it is very compact, everything you need for a good overnight stay is right there: spacious room, nice restaurant and a very friendly bar to relax after a long day of driving. The room would certainly benefit from some modernization, but they are quite alright for a short stay. The restaurant Henry's is very nice and offers both traditional German and modern dishes. The breakfast buffet is also something not to be missed including all the necessities and freshly pressed juices.
