Shop owner Marcos is super friendly. We dived with Aurelien and Guillermo and they were fantastic. The dive was absolutely amazing! Not really a beginner dive, but certainly not advanced. Need to have good buoyancy control and be comfortable, but this is not cave diving. Totally cool experience, and great company!

This is such a lovely, authentic beach, without the feel that you are in a tourist hotspot. The sand is clean and lovely and the sea clear and safe for swimming. We had lunch at the beach club, which was lovely. Worth a visit.

Under the Jungle specializes in cavern and cave diving only. Owned and operated by enthusiastic cave explorers, we offer cenote tours and training for experienced divers only. All tours are private, and these services are geared towards highly experienced divers with a technical diving background/mindset, who are geninually interested in learning about the cavern environment. The caverns and cave are an advanced diving environment, and in our opinion require a significant level of skill to dive safely and enjoyably. As such, we demand more than the industry standards of both our divers and guides. We require that our divers have the minimum skill level to enroll in a cavern course (even for simple cenote tours) -- at least 25 logged dives, solid buoyancy control, and have dived in the last 6 months. We require that our guides hold a minimum certification level of cavern instructor (ie; someone who has actually been trained to teach people to dive in the caverns).

There’s the path, off the beaten path, remote, and then Under the Jungle, which is where you want to be to truly experience every aspect of this part of Mexico’s cave country. Stunning cenotes, breathtaking cave dives, eat at local places you would otherwise pass by. Natalie and Vincent know every inch of this area, above and below ground, and will quickly hone in on what is exactly right for you. Full service, fully stocked, modern dive shop. Great instruction. Great advice if you strike out on your own but much better, hire one of them to guide your day(s) and your diving for the most incredible, complete experience. They know the places with easy access and not-so-easy access. Friendly, interesting, professional, committed to what they do, with a deep knowledge of the area, past and present. They have been there a long time and are very tied in with the locals. Their new dive shop is perfectly located. Worth every dollar (peso); I and the group I was with could not have asked for more. I was there September 2015, when the shop was being built, and Natalie was giving side mount instruction to my buddy, and again with a group of 5 cave divers during August 2017, when the shop was finished and up and running. Thank you, thank you, Natalie and Vince.

Nice parc to go for a morning. Their are two activities, perfect combination. For some adrenaline you’ve got the ropes course high in the trees! After that you can enjoy the beauty of a cenote. Good price quality!Thank you Robert, we hope to see you back soon !

I dealt with Jenna, David and Chris. They were all very nice, and I had a great session with Chris. The location at Xpu Ha is great. They are honest, friendly, safety oriented people and I would recommend them to everyone looking to learn to kiteboard.
