We booked this tour through Royal Caribbean cruise lines, and had a wonderful experience. Despite the rather bumpy ride up to the house, we enjoyed the tour given by Donny. Lunch was delicious as well. The grounds are beautiful. I wish we had had more time to spend there.

Booked through Viator, we were picked up from our hotel on time by Davian, our driver from El Sol Vida Tours who was excellent company for the short drive, full of local knowledge and very smartly dressed and full of enthusiasm.
After a complimentary drink we bought a couple of beers and boarded the bamboo raft, greeted by our guide..Captain Wilkie, a veteran rafter of 20 years who was great fun and full of stories and information.
Enjoying our beers we gently sailed the 1 to 2 miles without hardly any other traffic as there were no cruise trippers in that day; we believe that Wednesday is to be avoided.
Plenty of photos and lots of facts about the wildlife and trees, etc. made for a lovely relaxing time.
Finished our beers and bought a souvenir photo from the on site guy and we returned to our hotel to cool off in the pool. Thoroughly recommended, these attractions need support so it's well worth the effort.

Went from cruise ship. $50 pp was way to expensive for what you got. A ride and a chair! We seldom do ship excursions and prefer to do tours on own or privately due to cost and quality. Should have done so HOWEVER Jamaica is not a place to go on you own in our opinion. So not much choice. This beach break is really close to the port and went on a large bus. It was clean and safe. Beach area is large and lots of chairs. You can walk either direction on the beach but maybe one block each way. BEach is wide, semi clean. Some bottle caps so watch where you walk. The water is nice, Waves good and not too powerful. Area is roped off so you don’t go out too far so not much area to go out, and not too deep. You can go right or left though by walking not swimming. So most people were in water but not swimming. No snorkelling, no one on boogie boards. It is like a big party area. Music which is not too loud if you go further from the bar areas. Drinks super expensive and not great. We did not eat here. Would not go here again unless it was $20 to do so. At least for that cost a chair and being in and near water may be worth getting off ship and away from port. Must say this port is really nice. Nice cobblestone walking areas and stores are plentiful. Places to sit. Felt safe to be there. Way nicer than orcho Rico port which is nothing really and did not feel safe as vendors were super pushy at that port.

Decided to take a royal Caribbean excursion here and was not disappointed. The ride up to the beach isn't nice at all since there's a lot of construction going on. The beach itself was nice, there's trees to find some shade. They have chairs you can rent, there's changing rooms, restrooms, bar, grill to purchase food from, a lifeguard, and security that walks around.
I would not recommend wasting money on the food. I tried the jerk chicken and burger ... was extremely disappointed for $10 each.
The beer was cold and the service was great! The people are always friendly in Jamaica.
I honestly wouldn't return but it is decent beach.

This really is a spectacular beach. Clear, turquoise water. White powdery sand. Not too deep. Courteous staff and attentive life guards. My only issue is that you get harassed by locals who want money outside while parking...even on the public side road. I hope they can change this. It spoils what would have been an awesome experience.
