Gosford House

Lovely farm shop , easy disabled access walks , beautiful ponds , some wildlife. Some boggy bits so wear boots if wet weather. Interesting buildings scattered around the estate particularly liked the mausoleum and the quaint little building beside the smaller pond. Unfortunately dogs have to be kept on lead due to the wildlife and some farm animals. But otherwise enjoyed my visit. There is a play area near the farm shop for kids. Would recommend if you enjoy a relaxing walk in woodlands and have a few hours to spare.

Kilspindie Golf Club

It was fun to play this golf course, I played it twice with a member and my husband, the course is very interesting not knowing what to except it was fun, the our friend is a member he gave advice on which direction to hit the ball, the second time we were held up with slow play which began on the 9 hole, apart from that it was enjoyable. The views across Aberlady bay are spectacular with sea life and different birds. The clubhouse has everything you need friendly staff and excellent food, I had chicken salad it was delicious and would certainly play and eat there again

Myreton Motor Museum

Unbelievable that I have lived in East Lothian for a lengthy period of time and never visited the museum. Some of the items on display brought back memories especially the Austin A50 the first car I ever owned, what an enjoyable walk through history.

Craigielaw Golf Course

Reviewed By AdoJen - Edinburgh, United Kingdom

I have played Craigielaw many times and it is a great test. East Lothian has the uncanny ability to have great weather when all around is bad! The club has everything a visitor could want; great practice facilities, a challenging course but no real blind shots, an excellent clubhouse with great food, a very friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff plus there is a par 3 course AND now there is super accommodation in The Lodge. I have played there with friends from overseas too and they all remark on how good the whole Craigielaw experience is. Top marks.
