Whether you want excellent ski boot fitting, the right type and size of skis for your style of skiing, or mountain bikes, downhill bikes, electric bikes, mountain climbing gear or clothes to wear during the activity, you can find it at Hefti Sports, Leysin! This is definitely a local shop, owned and operated by the locals. They are friendly, happy and have lots and lots of information---so bring your questions, too (in English, French, German, and Italian...don't know about other languages!). Short walk down hill from our hotel to the cable car station, very helpful staff assisted us into the gondola. The views on the way up were fantastic. At the top, sitting in the warm sunshine with mountains as far as the eye could see and a very pleasant bar/cafe, plus a revolving restaurant what more could one want.
