It is small but an amazing view Aveiro River. You can ride a Moliceiro a traditional boat....see the town and the amazing buildings. Also the places were there used to be salt, that is a great view.

Beautiful park and area right in the center and you should defo visit it . Was the first place I visited when I moved her in 2018.

My 24-hour stay in Aveiro left a lasting impression, not least of which was my trip on the Moliceiro (their version of Venitian Gondola). The trip took us along all canals, the day was beautiful and the guide was helpful in answering questions, despite his limited knowledge of English. There is a great holiday atmosphere in Aveiro, lots of lovely restaurants and cafes, tsk tsk rides, parks to rest in and lots to see. One note of caution it is quite expensive. Lunch in the main square cost me €20 for one course and a bottle of Apple Cider. Visit Aveiro - it's worth the trip!
