Reviewed By veronicahR6947IZlast minute booking as no other place available, paid $246 to sleep in a very hot room, no a/c, rotating fan placed on counter at bedside, travelling with a friend and if we stood finger tip to finger tip we could touch the opposite walls, the room was soooooo small, when opening the bathroom door it was only inches away from the edge of the bed, room was crammed with a table and 2 chairs and I'm not sure why as there was no room to pull out the chairs to sit, I think the tv was bigger than the bed, the bathroom had holes in the walls, no bathtub and the shower head was about 4 inches from the curtain with about 3 feet on the other side????? don't let the looks of the exterior fool you, I would never stay here again and not recommend to anyone, the only good thing about this place was it's proximity to the ferry

Location is at the mouth of a river into the saint laurence. An interesting view under a bridge to the saint laurence. Really liked the place. Would stay again.

Predatory, Unethical -- DO NOT STAY HERE
Reviewed By alexlY4801VUThis Motel took advantage of me when I made a simple error booking on BOOKING.COM. I arrived at the hotel an hour later to modify my reservation for that night but they pressured me into reserving through the hotel directly and then refused to refund the reservation I made in error for the following night. They never even tried to re-rent the room for the next night. *They are thieves. Unethical and predatory. Full stop. Do not stay here. Oh - also, there was a hillbilly bonfire going on across the parking lot. It made us feel unsafe.

Reviewed By oopsie1We stayed in room 209 which was recently renovated by new owners who were very friendly. The room was bright, clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the St. Lawrence. Close to Metro grocery store and restaurants. Great place to stay and visit this beautiful area. We visited Tadoussac and watched whales from Cap de Bon Desir, a beautiful National Park and cycled the island of Isle aux Coudres. We would definitely stay here again.

Very Poor Value
Reviewed By Vancouverguy_10Stayed here August 12, 2014. A very tired and down at heel motel. Carpet in room was badly stained, not suitable for bare feet. Room bore no resemblance to photos on motel's website. At $105 was terrible value. Equates to what currently goes for $35/night all over the USA. Asked for an upstairs room. Was instead given a downstairs room under the stairs. The "anglo greeting" I assume. You are well advised to continue 10 more minutes to Malbaie where much superior accomodations at about the same price are in abundance.
