Reviewed By Emmanuel NOur family weekend visit and stay at Choice Gate Hotel and Suites Benin City,left us with interesting memories to cherish. Facilities were just adequate and one can acknowledge the massive facelift and new structures being added. Located deep in the GRA one can observe that space might be a constraint in the near future. However, services were satisfactory and commendable.

Reviewed By omoyeglowDecent facilities, functioning pool, clean, regular water supply, there was no power outage, sheets were clean and changed daily. Entertainment was good with functional cable tv and pool side music as well as bar. I must make mention of the exceptional friendly atmosphere created by the staff of this hotel.

Great Place to Stay in Ekpoma
Reviewed By CharlesEnahonnaA surprisingly nice place to stay in Ekpoma. Good location and easy to access. Cozy rooms. Neat and clean rooms. The room interior is very welcoming and romantic. Friendly and courteous staff. Always willing to be of assistance. This property is the best hotel in Ekpoma. It’s well managed and maintained. My booking was from January 10 - 13, 2019. It was a unique experience. The food was good especially their local delicacies. The Hotel Manager is an experienced professional and a good man.

Reviewed By saliuarkI had gone to Auchi to attend a church programme and the hotel offered a great location being close to my church. The hotel does not sell any alcoholic beverage and that was great for my devotional needs. The staff are courteous and neat. The environment offers a cute family setting that I can recommend any day any time to my friends. Whether travelling through Auchi and in Auchi for any social event, please try the hotel to get the Regal treatment.

Nice cheap place
Reviewed By Umauter O1. They have clean sheets with duvets unlike most hotels in this region in this category who expose customers to the same blanket. 2. Power which is a challenge in Nigeria is always on with minimal interruptions for changeovers. 3. The staff were polite and courteous. 4. Bathroom water pressure was low and hot water not working. A lot of repairs are left half done. 5. There is adequate parking space available and your car will be washed for a tip in the morning. 6. Overall my stay was ok but it could be more comfortable.

Don't expect much
Reviewed By highimpactukIf you need a budget place to lay your head for a day or two - close to the city centre - then this may well fit the bill. As with many things in Nigeria, maintenance is a huge problem so expect some of the veneer around what may have at some point been a great place to stay, to be disappointing. The mattress and pillows were super-firm which made a good night's sleep a rarity and there was no cover sheet - which meant you had to use the duvet - which was unlikely to be cleaned and changed after every stay. That said, the location did feel safe and staff were very helpful with room service and other queries.
