It is beautifully situated in the Weserbergland near two famous health resorts. We offer 98 modern business rooms including two rooms for the physically challenged and seven apartments. We offer 150 free parking places directly at the house. Our conference hotel offers 10 conference rooms on 1400 sqm meeting surface for up to 250 persons. Professional conference support distinguishes us. Feel all around like at home. All rooms are equipped with wireless/LAN/ high-speed Internet access. What a moron place.
Reviewed By GuidoKarpWanted to book an event. Stressed that we bring cases with dimensions 110x200cm. in BOLD letters and pictures. Took three reminders for them to respond. Then, multiple calls. Their telephone system broke down. Finally: an offer. Requested an agreement. The response was: just sign the email. For security we double-checked - and no, the cases will not fit through their hallways. What a respectless waste of time. If you try to launch an event there, my best advice: don't.

Nice area, no mobile signal
Reviewed By Paul MI stay in this area frequently and decided to try somewhere new. The biggest problem is that there is absolutely zero mobile phone signal (Vodafone), and whilst there is free wifi in the hotel (which notwithstanding other TA reviews did work in the bedroom and was reasonably reliable - it dropped out a couple of times) it means you can't make calls (other than VOI). For me - travelling on business, I'm afraid that is a show-stopper - I need to be able to make calls and work during the evening - no phone and limitations on email mean that I can't really work. Unless that was sorted out I could not stay here again. The hotel is a nice building in a nice rural setting. Very nice reception area. I didn't use the pool so can't comment - but the setting would be nice to go and explore in a warmer season. The room was comfortable although not luxury. It was reasonably large, and perfectly decent for a night. I think it I was staying there for longer I'd like either a kettle or a minibar or both. The owner/manager is very friendly. Perhaps it might be better to allow guests to get to their rooms a little quicker though! Breakfast was much the same - perfectly ok without being overly luxurious. Functional. No problems. The restaurant was quite good though for the evening.

Basic but comfortable
Reviewed By Paul MIt's a Gasthaus rather than a hotel, and therefore you expect more basic accommodation - which is what you get here, but it's more than enough for a comfortable stay. The room was large, and whilst basic, comfortable. The breakfast was again fairly basic but good quality. Unfortunately we didn't stay here in the evening so cannot comment on the restaurant or bar. The reception normally closes at 2100 or 2200, but I was in contact in advance and they were able to accommodate a late arrival no problem. I'd be happy to stay here again.
