It is very well located and Lindau or Friedrichshafen is within easy reach of the Zeppelin Museum and the Domestic Airport, where international flights are also available!

A delightful, family-owned hotel/spa
Reviewed By cbbarrie2016We were recommended to stay here and we thank the advisor wholeheartedly! It is family-owned and run, one brother being in charge of the hotel operations, the other being in charge of the excellent kitchen. It is a modern building, much extended, convenient for the railway station, close to Lake Constance and near the heart of the charming village of Nonnenhorn. The restaurant has a deserved reputation for the quality of its food so it advisable to book early to sit either inside or out. There is a good wine cellar to complement the excellent cuisine. The only negative we found is that access for the less-able bodied visitor is inadequate. At the time of our visit there was no handrail to the steps up to the main entrance ('on its way'!) and the spiral staircase up to our third-floor room caused many difficulties when carrying heavy luggage. Ask for an accessible room in this friendly, stylish and quality establishment to ensure maximum comfort!

The nicest hotel I have ever been in, and I have been in a lot !

To return to Anita's pension is almost like to return home, and this is because I fill there like at home. The pension is very clean and everything is Meticulous. I have trouble finding words to describe the feeling of being there, you must be there to feel it.

Reviewed By PapavonKathiDas Hotel Hornstein ist ein nettes kleines Landhotel mit direkt daran angeschlossener Wirtschaft und Weingut Peter Hornstein. Die Zimmer sind neu, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit angenehmen Bett und schönem Bad. Es liegt auf einer Anhöhe und man hat sogar einen Blick auf den Bodensee. Der Empfang ist familiär, das Frühstück einfach, aber bodenständig. Und wehe wenn der Chef Peter einmal losgelassen, dann brennt er ein Feuerwerk an Geschichten ab, die es in sich haben. Fast wie beim Hundertjährigen, der aus dem Fenster sprang und verschwand, kennt Peter in jeder Ecke der Welt oder zumindest Mitteleuropas jemanden und hat mit diesem Abenteuer erlebt. Manchmal meint man, Münchhausen erzählt, aber dann fügt sich wieder ein Stein in den anderen und die unterhaltsam vorgetragenen Geschichten werden rund.
