A lovely experience
Reviewed By Skib99We were on a road trip through Dalarna and stayed at several Herrgården along the way. Långshyttan Brukshotell was our favourite hotel experience. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by the owner Bengt, we felt so welcome. We had booked the suite in the main mansion with a nice balcony overlooking the park. We had a double jacuzzi and enjoyed that right away. Dinner was superb, Bengt is an excellent cook. He kindly accomodated our request to change the starter on the fixed menu (we had given him a day's notice on that). The decorations in the hotel are very tasteful, they have aimed for a modern interpretation of manorhouse charm as opposed to just the usual antiques one finds in most Herrgård hotels. Breakfast was very good. We found the park and its history which is intertwined with the town and region's history very interesting. And then Bengt was lots of fun to chat with, such a good host. Reviewed By Phayao13Some enthusiasts are renting themselves out on the party floor of this charming little worn hotel that looks charming from the outside. Bar on, several places in the hotel make sure no one needs to thirst during this Hedemora out and loud event. In general, there seems to be a need to renovate large parts of the establishment, but I guess the set is not on the agenda.

Vandrarhem med personlig service
Reviewed By Anders MHar bott flera gånger på vandrarhemmet. Rummen är av varierande. Renligt och snyggt, lyhört. Gemensamt badrum, duschrum, men man kan lås om sig. Finns ett gemensamt, välutrustat kök, Ägaren är mån om att man ska ha det bra på vandrarhemmet. Handdukar byts ofta. Gemensamma utrymmen städas varje dag. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Vandrarhemmet ligger lite i utkanten av centrum men det tar inte många minuter att gå till centrum. En stor livsmedelsbutik finns några hundra meter bort.

De som inte ger 5 stjärnor är boendet- bodde i sviten och jag och sambon saknade samma trevliga och mysiga atmosfär i den sk sviten som i de allmänna ytorna . Detta var helt vanligt rum om något större ,svitkänslan fanns inte den där lite lyxiga saknades det kostade ju ändå 1400:-/ natt så lite extra kanske man kan begära . Som tex en välkomnande skål med frukt lite choklad en blomma i nått fönster - glas å en karaff för vatten , ljus i ljusstakarna shampoo duchcreme kanske en eld i den vackra kaminen som finns i rummet:) Sängarna var magiskt sköna och utsikten magnifik. Jag och min sambo rekommenderar detta boende varmt med den så fina hjärtliga ägarna som visar sådan gästvänlighet ? vi kommer igen☀️

Tutto quello che serve!
Reviewed By emmaforeverE' un appartamento grande e completo di tutto. Pulito e funzionale, anche se gli arredi non sono nuovissimi. Non è molto vicino al centro, ma la location è bella. Lo staff è gentilissimo! Ci siamo trovati benissimo!
