Beautiful Resort, dock for sailboats.
Reviewed By caribnsol99Great resort. We came in on our sailboat and took a slip on their dock. Great restaurant, pool and staff. Dock manager was great, Geneva in the restaurant took great care of us. Located next to a beautiful little town. Had a wonderful time and will stop in again when in the area.

Reviewed By tamaz2018My favorite part of the stay was the food. This is unusual because the Bahamas is not known for food. Devin, the chef at La Bouganvillea, is a humble soft spoken man who cooks up wonders in his seaside kitchen. The lobster tacos were amazing. Oh, and don't miss trying the best burger in the Bahamas. The environment Tom created is an eclectic mix of Bahamian and Asian designs. This tasteful combination made me feel relaxed and embraced. I enjoyed immensely sitting out back listening to the ocean, feeling the gentle breeze all while being taken care of by a great staff.

Villa Allamanda is a charming Eleuthera Boutique Hotel featuring a modern island style decor in a garden setting with our unique breathtaking panoramic views of both sides of the island, the Atlantic Ocean & The 'Lucayan Sea'. We are located just a four (4) minute drive outside our town center of Governor's Harbour, a fifteen (15) minute stroll from our Twin Coves beach and an eight (8) minute drive from the Gov. Hbr. Airport.

Mika's Resort is a modern luxury property located on the Atlantic side of Eleuthera, only a 7 minute drive from GHB airport and about 15 minutes from downtown Governor's Harbour. Our oceanfront Casitas are equipped with a kitchenette including a mini-fridge, microwave, and place settings and a private bathroom with shower. Our luxury Penthouse offers stunning ocean views with a private balcony, living room, full kitchen, and bedroom with spa bath. Thoughtful amenities throughout include spa quality Comphy brand bedding, custom skin care products, and a community kitchen in our main house where guests are welcome to cook their own meals. Guests are also free to enjoy our virtually private pink sand beach! Mika's Resort is a family-owned business where you are treated like family. We are not a hotel. We run our place more like a bed and breakfast where you have the freedom to move around the property like it's your own. We are off the beaten path and like to think of our place as a quiet, private getaway with a paradise beach feel.

If you’re in Eleuthera and need to stay somewhere don’t look any further than Mikas resort. Governors harbour is only a 15 minute drive away to get to the restaurants and groceries. You’re also positioned in the middle of the island so relative access to south or north isn’t a problem. Until the next time ?

Fantastic Location but cleanliness is less than satisfactory.
Reviewed By Mattias LWe were a family of 5 staying for 5 days. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay in Island seaside suites. There are some 5 pointers and some 1 pointers in the location. The location is just perfect if you are looking for a quite relaxing vacation. Hidden behind lush vegetation and in comfortable distance from stores and other points of interests on the Island. The veranda is looking out over the sea with breathtaking views and there is a pathway leading 50 yards down to chrystal clear water. The beach can be accessed through either swimming or walking (depending on the tide) about 50-100 yards. We rented the lower floor while the upper had no guests so that added to the tranquility. The owner, Al, is a very kind and helpful man who gave good tips on what to do and see on the island. On the minus side the house left quite to wish for when it comes to cleanliness and equipment. Overall it did not seemed to have been properly cleaned for some time and grease and dust where present in most areas. Some of the kitchen equipment where old and worn and not so nice to use for cooking. Batteries for 2/3 AC remotes where out and toilet- and kitchen paper where not lasting more than 2 days. Furnitures and interior are not of the latest fashion but that might have been ok if the rest of the house would have been fresh. We also wished that the house would come with some kind of recreational equipment like snorkling gear, kayak, fishing rods or other but nothing like that existed. To summarize, we were very happy all together but the inside of the house needs a facelift. If we return to Eleuthera we would probably look for something else since we have the feeling that we could have a little more value for money.
