My hard earned money got stolen from my wallet, while I was not in the room. The same morning my friend exchanged the money for me, gave it to me and I Kept the money inside my bag which i closed while leaving the room & before leaving the room I counted the notes again and the same evening after I came back to the hotel the money was gone .( Ofcourse apart from my friend an d I only the housekeepers boys went there for cleaning ) The reception staff claimed that their house keeping boys would never do that ,as if they were their own children’s ( whom they trust like their own kids) Of course a Thief would never admit that he stole something and on top of that the receptionist guy was going rude to me that it’s my mistake that I didn’t care for my money Rather then figuring it out where could it go he was kinda being rude to me. On top of that the check out time was 12 pm for which I already paid in full but I did my checkout a bit late around 7:30 pm ( same day ) for which they charged me for the whole next day stating that after 7 pm they will charge the whole money because already half day is gone . ( understand how come from 1 pm till 7 pm it’s already a half day for them that they charged me the whole amount for a day ) Receptionist told me that he will charge me the amount which was reflected in my booking that was 17 riyal but did charge 21.370 riyal (EXTRA) ( got cheated ) money looters cheaters .

Airport hotel in a strange location
Reviewed By Dan OBayan international hotel is a strange experience. It´s located 30 km outside Muscat in a place best described as the free space within a road junction. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel (apart from roads) and the only way to get there is by car. I used this hotel between two flights – and I can’t see any other reason to stay here. 10 minutes by car to the airport and about half an hour with car to Muscat city. Remember to haggle with the taxi drivers, which is harder at the airport than in the city. Taxi drivers seems to have hard to find the hotel so I’d suggest to print a map. The hotel itself is fine. Well kept. Helpful staff. Basic but clean and big rooms. There is a rooftop restaurant and a lobby café. The restaurant was not open during my stay. Free Wi-Fi with a somewhat weak signal in the room I stayed. The building is an octagon which creates a churchlike atrium inside.

Average quality, good option in Mabela
Reviewed By rezasattarzadehI normally have to take my car to a service centre in Mabela and this hotel is a good option to stay for a night or two when I am without a vehicle. The hotel is not luxurious but it gives you the option of a relatively comfortable stay in Mabela. The amenities in the rooms are adequate, rooms are clean and the staff are helpful. Having said this, there areas for improvement even within the current standards. For instance, there is an electric kettle in the room but there are no cups or glasses. The breakfast is served in the room but there is no cutlery to serve the jam or butter. Also, the fan the the bathroom is very noisy and may better be switched off. This hotel is a good option for those who have to stay in the industrial centre of Mabela and around the hotel there is literally no place of interest to visit.
