The farm and vineyard Portal da Luz has an unique location at the heart of Vale do Bau at the beautiful Serra da Mantiqueira. Located right in front of Pedra do Bau, the main natural and touristic attraction of the region, the vineyard is at 1200m above sea level and has an unforgettable and breathtaking view to the untouched green mountains around. Often is possible to spot tucans flying over the grapes and many local birds. There is a tour available with a sommelier that explain the reasons why the region is perfect for winemaking, as well as the natural cicle of the vine and the processes of winemaking. Besides the vineyard tour, there is a cafe, meeting spot for the tours and tastings, that sells wine by the glass and bottle, beers, starters to share, and products like jam made from fruits and products from the farm.
