Installations for guests are organized following strict and careful rules set by hosts, Mr. Werner and his wife, Cirlene, Brazilian, from Alagoas an expert in the arte of catering. A lady who doesn't have to try hard to set impeccable and pleasant accommodations to receive a whole family. There are six well-ventilated apartments, offering cozy settings, screened doors and windows, and impeccable bathrooms. Furnishings include TV, frigobar, air conditioning, and hot water. (*) We do not allow bringing in drinks, food or any kind of animals.

A Real Surprise from a Brazilian Dude Ranch
Reviewed By BrazilBumThis hotel combines a working "Dude" ranch with great access only 12 kilometers down the road to some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil's Northeast - unspoiled beaches at that. It is located in the greenest valley I have ever seen surrounded by rolling hills filled with grazing cattle. The ranch itself not only raises cattle, but Ostriches too. It even has a large lake where you can fish. I thought I would use the hotel as a jumping off place to discover some of the highly recommended beaches between São Miguel dos Milagres and Porto de Pedras where one of the four star beaches of Brazil is located, Patacho. But, I was very content wandering around the hotel. Of course, I went off to the beaches as well, but that's another story. I stayed in a very large private, air conditioned bungalow. I thought that I was being pampered and asked to see the regular rooms and discovered that they were even bigger! Everything is modern, clean and organized. The cost, including the use of the recreational facilities is from 200-300 Brazilian Reales a day and includes a good country breakfast. That's about US$130 a night. There are about eight chalets and twenty apartments. I had dinner at their restaurant and was very impressed with their menu. I ordered mutton from their farm. I could have had Ostrich meat if I wanted. For less adventurous eaters, there are ample selections of more common fare. The staff doesn't speak English, but are really bent on making sure that you are getting the most out of your stay. I hope to be able to get to get back there and spent more time on the ranch than I did this time.

LOCATION Japaratinga is situated on the north coast of Alagoas, between Maceio (120 km ) and Recife (135 km ) on the fascinating "Costa dos Corais" ("Coral coast"). Reviewed By Maria KIt is a nice place to relax! It has a beautiful beach. The Chalés are nicely equipped with hammocks! The poussada has a swimming pool and a delicious breakfast buffet with a great service staff! It is recommended to have a car or motorbike in order to enjoy fully the surroundings!
