Very nice
Reviewed By zarac1The hotel is very nice, the rooms are nice, the food is very good. It is really pleasant. There are some cows near the hotel and you can see them and hear the bells while theey are moving and eating - really calming. From my room there was a very nice view since it is on a hill. Very pleasant.

Simple hospitality to a very high standard
Reviewed By KoermendiOne night spent in the setting of a work-group retreat; three meals taken (dinner, breakfast, lunch). Calm; absolutely quiet; comfortable room and bed; spotlessly clean; WiFi entirely satisfactory; good breakfast choices; fixed menus for dinner and lunch, two options (usual and vegan) for each course, and those that I had were well-prepared. Friendly and personable staff. A very relaxing stay, and recommended to anyone ready to thread the roads up into the mountains. (The Weizer Klamm is so imposing as to be a bit scarey.) The décor is a bit quirky; someone in the management is either a rock-hound or a mystic, as large crystals lurk everywhere. Involuntary aura modification cannot be excluded. Wear your amulet if you come.

Nice hotel to stay, but the food was not good
Reviewed By zuzka tWe went to Landhotel Schwaiger for a weekend. The area it is in is very beautiful and perfect for a weekend visit. The rooms were very clean and nice and so was the spa and swimmingpool area. My biggest dissappointment was about the food. The breakfasts were ok. You had different sweet and savory foods to choose from. But the menus for dinner were just bad. The first evening they brought us as a starter mussles, which is for me in Steiermark completely not understandable as a menu choise. The salads were not really fresh and the taste of the food was just like in a cafeteria. Its a pitty, because we liked the hotel a lot.

Reviewed By 300ottoAmikor kinéztük a booking.com ról az ára miatt választottuk. Amiért visszamennénk a vendégszeretet! 2 éjszakára foglaltunk, 2 szobás apartmant 2 felnőtt 2 gyerek (10,12) részére étkezés nélkül. Odaérve derült ki, hogy ez egy” falusi turizmus “ szállás, rögtön arrébb kellett parkoljak mert beleálltam a tehenek útjába. René fogadott minket ő beszél a legjobban angolul, de igazán maradandó élmény akkor lesz ha VKI beszél a családból németül. Szóval Merlin a 3 éves tacskó volt a srácok kedvence, de láttunk és az istállóban bemenve simogathattunk 3 napos bocit, nyulakat, kint kecskét. Van egy kicsi házi pisztrángos tavuk is. A szállás tiszta volt, az ágyak kényelmesek, egyedül az éjjeliszekrények fiókjai fáradtak el több helyen. A fürdőben törülköző volt, de kézmosó nem. A házi tej miatt a második napra kértünk reggelit, csak 12 év felett fizetős,6,5€/fő igen kiadós volt, a főtt tojás kötött kék sapkában tálalták. 2-t elkértünk. Az IFA 0 éves kortól fizetendő 2,5 € fő/éj A takarítási díjat Booking.com apró betűben hozza. Ahogy az only Cash-t is. Tehénszag kutya kilátás! A zöld apartman a völgy felé, a kék az istálló felé. A konyha felszerelt, edényben nem erősek de kisegítenek. Nekünk sajtreszelő kellett. Imádtam!

A real gem in Steiermark
Reviewed By Darth Vader XWe have found this gem of a place incidentally, as we were looking for an accommodation near the Bärenschutzklamm. It was an excellent choice! Frau Gabbichler is a loving and passionate host. She always had a kind word to us and was always full with excellent advices for programs or places to see. The homemade dairy and bakery products were delightfully tasty and her breakfast is an absolute must have! The rooms are clean and new looking (the house is 300 years old!) and also well equipped. If you happen to like garden grill, she also has one. Be sure to meet the 15 years old and still actively hunting cat, Kitty, but do not be frightened by her daily trophies :-)
