Reviewed By LinaM2966What a place! Only a few hours from Windhoek we stayed at this oasis! The lodge was beautiful, the room big while at the same time cozy, the staff very friendly and the food delicious! It's really a magnificent experience to sit at the dinner table next to the fire and watch springboks and a massive eland chilling under a tree.

Reviewed By Boy_ScoutWe spent one night here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The rooms are more spacious than any rooms we had on this trip and the food (dinner and breakfast) were superb! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there’s a waterhole directly behind the reception building. Our room also looked out on the waterhole, but the view wasn’t as good as from the campfire ring behind reception. We saw impala, gnus, springbok, as well as a giraffe. We found that internet service in rooms in the backcountry of Namibia was generally poor. That was also the case here. We had sporadic 1 bar of service in the corner of our room where the desk was. It wasn’t much of a problem as there was sufficient signal strength in the reception area.

Fantastic lodge and hospitality
Reviewed By Andrea GAuthentic Namibian hospitality, we felt privileged to be guest at the lodge of the Schwalm family. Wonderful views directly out of the room which is furnished in a pure colonial style. Wild animals are roaming freely around the property and can be observed in their natural environment. The best part though was dinner time at the table with the hosts and the other guests telling stories about safaris and other Namibian experiences. Absolutely recommended, do not miss this if you are on tour in Namibia.

Désagréable impression à la vue des nombreux trophées de chasse exposés, le lodge propose en effet des parties de chasse, ce qui est choquant après avoir vu les merveilles d’etosha ! Personnel très prévenant et très accueillant.
