Wonderful view from a window and a terrace
Reviewed By HeltsiA lovely hotel very near Como lake. We stayed night in their Villa. It was quite near of the main building. We have our own garden and a terrace. View from window and terrace was wonderful! There was enough space for three adults. Breakfast was at the main hotel building. Cappuccino was a delicious. Staff were friendly. It was excellent!

The facilities, including private yacht/boat pier, air-conditioned accommodations and free of charge parking place, make the stay in La Locanda Del Cantiere and Rooms comfortable. All of the sound proof rooms are decorated with new furniture. They have Smart Flat screen TV, coffee machine, wine fridge, mini bar, hairdryer, safe-box. Guests have on disposal restaurant with a panoramic lake view, serving different types of cuisine and Italian traditional dishes. It features all kinds of spirits, wines, vintage brands and champagne. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire La Locanda Del Cantiere propriety and from desk services on demand such as wandering trips, bikes, Nordic walking, kayaks and motor boats can be organized. La Locanda is situated in the famous village of Laglio, 5 meters from the lake, 50 meters from a sun bathing area, 600 meters from Villa Oleandra, 5 kilometers from Cernobbio, 15 kilometers from Villa Balbianello. The location has easy access from the International Airports of Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, Bergamo, Lugano CH and the transfer is available on request.
Superb hotel
Reviewed By Kirsty4464This hotel far exceeded our expectations (not that they were bad). From the ease of booking to the minute we checked out, everything was superb. Any queries before we arrived, where answered by email quickly by Mike the office manager. We had a late flight and arrived after office hours, this wasn’t a problem at all. We were sent an email with clear instructions on how we could get our keys. The rooms are large, bright, very very clean and have more than you need for your stay. The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom was fully tiled with a large powerful walk in shower. We had requested an iron and ironing board as we were attending a wedding while we where there, this was brought to our room within an hour of the request and was with us to use for our 4 day stay. The room has a Nescafé coffee machine, you can also get hot water from this so easy to make tea too. Pods and teabags supplied. The TV has Sky, obviously most channels in Italian but some you are able to change to English. Breakfast was lovely. Buffet style continental breakfast as well as bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. If you want a big plate just ask. It’s an English thing. Mike is an asset to this hotel, any advice or questions, just ask. He organised for us to hire a boat on the lake for the day, found out the bus times for us so we could get to where we needed to get the boat (the buses are an experience in themselves). Nothing is too much trouble for him at all. Thank you for help with everything that made our stay so memorable. Would we go back? Yes in a heartbeat

Reviewed By TheAlijonArrived by boat and stairs to Villa can be negotiated with ease. It was my nephews wedding reception and we were greeted with drinks. The outside huge patio was beautifully set out and decorated. The canapes were amazing and plentiful. Staff , all bar one barman, were very welcoming and helpful. Main meal was also exceptional .

The B&B Villa Albonico is located in Laglio, in an ancient and picturesque neighborhood, about seven miles from the township of Como. Opened in 2004, Villa Albonico is one of the first B&B on Lake Como, where the traditional definition of BB is fully respected: here the pleasure of opening one's home to offer a family staying is interpreted with competence and courtesy. The experience gained over more than a decade of work and genuine hospitality, a beautiful view of the lake and a generous breakfast, with heartfelt attention to the choice of products, are the ingredients for a pleasant stay at Villa Albonico. We offer to guests three separate rooms so composed: - A mini-apartment with double bedroom, furnished kitchen and living room with terrace which offers a magnificent view of the lake -A spacious twin room with two single beds and a sofa bed, which, if necessary, makes the room suitable for triple occupancy. The twin room has a lake view terrace too. -On the first floor there is a wide and charming double bedroom, also overlooking the lake. We offer a tailor made sejourn according to your needs.
Amazing experience
Reviewed By V3583DIjenniferThe host Fabio was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to look after us during our trip. The views from our room were incredible, you could literally lay in bed and see out to the most amazing view. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to our day and the table set up was amongst the beautiful garden. The sun shines down all day, there is a lovely walk into the town down the green path. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet break away in Lake Como.

Reviewed By chiaramP9526ZYPosto davvero incantevole. Abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza azzurra con veranda ed è stato un soggiorno che davvero non dimenticheremo! Stanza spaziosa con bagno comodo e funzionale (ci sono bidet e Phon). Una grande tenda blu separa la zona letto dalla veranda fatta completamente di finestroni (apribili) che ti danno la sensazione di essere sospesi sul lago. A disposizione bollitore, thè e caffè solubile. Parcheggio esterno vicinissimo, mazzo di Chiavi completo a disposizione per essere indipendenti a qualsiasi ora e aprire sia il cancellone automatico che il cancelletto pedonale dal quale in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva direttamente al centro del paesino. Signora davvero gentilissima! Che dire? Perfetto!
