After researching TA, I wanted to book a reservation here immediately since we were going on a Saturday night. I called the restaurant about three weeks before our travels and ended up communicating with chef Paolo through What's App. Paolo said the place was about 25 minutes from our hotel in Lezzeno. I didn't think that was a big deal until we arrived and the hotel said a taxi would be 90 euros ONE WAY to get there because it was winding roads and straight up hill. (Lesson learned, renting a car in Lake Como is probably a good idea). So I communicated with Paolo that it didn't make sense to pay 180 euros for transportation. He then quoted us a much lower price for both ways, and then sent Marina (his mom? not sure) to come get us. Now THAT is service! We had one of the best meals of our entire trip. Plus, the view!!! He split the Beef Carpaccio into two generous portions, same with the Pea and Mint Gnocchi. Both were fabulous. Then are main dishes were some of the most tender meat we have ever had; the Suckling Pig, and the Beef with Polenta. It was a nice change from all the fish we had been eating. The service was attentive and friendly (Paolo's girlfriend) and we got to visit with the family at the end. What and exquisite experience we had all around. My wife and I had lunch today at Osteria 20. A fantastic new restaurant in Carate Urio on the water. Great food, excellent service and reasonable prices. A smart stylish white linen restaurant located on the lakeside road offering a excellent menu.The restaurant appears to attract the locals which is good for their endorsement and is ideal for a dressy evening meal which comes at a price. The attentiveness of the service can vary depending upon the time of evening and customer numbers.The choice of restaurants is not expansive in Laglio so still worth a visit.

Millesimo Enoteca is a very beautiful bar located in Via Reggina, in the lakeside of Lago di Como, in the North of Italia. It iss very well-decorated. Really it is a place to relax on the terrace, drink one or two glasses of wine, see the beautiful views of the lake and talk about something with friends. We came here and drank a wine of the region (from Sondrio, 100kn far away) and some cheaps. Pitifully, they only has one red wine and one white wine by glasses from here. Also, we areived here when it was rainning a lot, so we can not relax a lot. Probably, the next time!

You can tell that you are close to Swizerland since there almost no places to eat. We tried at least five restaurants which were all closed. At last, we found this one and had a nice plattet of salami and prosciutto.

This is a great place for an informal family lunch in the woods with good value traditional italian food and wine in a rustic environment both inside and out. Service is friendly and efficient. Advise you take the free jeep up but walking back down is very enjoyable through the woods and there are some great views to be seen. Toilet facilities could be perhaps be a little more modern!
