Salle de réunion: pas de toilettes attenantes, obligation de retourner dans les chambres, Bref pour un séminaire a déconseiller, a teste pour loisirs.

Another great stay
Reviewed By Hawkins1021Have stayed here with various size groups over the last 4 years. Recently stayed with a group of 26 for 4 nights. Excellent stay as always. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. Has adequate generator so Power and A/C reliable. Food for breakfast is high quality and plentiful. Our group also had buffet dinners nightly which were very good quality. Always have cold prestige and sodas at the end of the day. Jean and his staff work very hard to make your stay pleasant. This is our favorite place to stay in Gonaives.

Enjoy a cozy bed in the enchanting setting of the l'Elysee Guest House. A warm decor, air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi. A beautiful and large sun terrace. Old trees, a large courtyard. Everything for your relaxation.
Quiet and comfortable accommodation
Reviewed By Andrew MI stayed here for one night after driving from Cap Hatien. The property is just before reaching the gas station near to the entrance of the town. The brown metal gate has the number 164 painted in the upper left corner, and the name of the Guest House is on the wall to the left of the gate. To the right of the gate is a blue and yellow painted shop. It was difficult to locate in the afternoon, as I was searching for a hanging sign with the name of the property, and there are few lights at night in Haiti. The short driveway led to the house, and the landscaping was well done. There is no front desk, and the host will meet you and show you the room. The host speaks little english, but responds very quickly via the online booking site. We were provided directions to sites in town and warned about the "trouble" spots to stay away from. The room is basic with white tiles and two beds. The bathroom was clean, and the only inconvenience was no wifi, which I expected having stayed overnight in Haiti before. The best feature of the accommodation was the large balcony which was tastefully decorated, spacious and had comfortable furniture. Due to the tall tree at the front of the house, the activities on the street can barely be seen, but it is a great area to hear the "buzz" of the city. Our rate included breakfast which was fried egg, bread and bananas. Juice and coffee were also served. If you arrive in the afternoon, there are quite a few f&b options a short walk away from the Guest House. If you turn right on exiting the property and walk for 5 minutes, a very moving "natural disaster" monument can be viewed. This monument is dedicated to the more than 2,000 lives that were lost in the city due to floods caused by Hurricanes between 2004-2008.
