It’s less than 5 min easy walk from the parking to the River Krupa Spring. From there it is possible to continue your walk, across a suspension bridge to a nearby viewpoint - we didn’t do it because the path behind the bridge was steep and muddy after rain.
2. Klet Semiske Penine
In our underground cellar in Semic, we offer guided tours of our wine cellar. Here you will learn what it takes for a grape to became sparkling wine. Each tour is followed by a tasting of our sparkling wines.
3. Zupnijska cerkev sv. Stefana
Old st. Stephen's church, built in year 1228, is still standing in the middle of city Semič. It is surrounded with a town wall from the Turkish invasions, and renovated in 18. century in baroque style. The baroque church is the best example of quality of sacral art in Bela krajina region.
4. Gace
Ski resort Gače is located in unspoiled nature between Novo mesto and Semič. It is the only major ski resort in this region and a popular lookout and excursion point for the people of Dolenjska and Bela krajina. We offer also summer activities from e-bike rentals, hiking trails, good food and summer cocktails in the middle of Rog forest.
