Vivarium Elapsoidea

This is a small place not far from downtown Geneva, very easy to get to by bus. They have a very good collection of snakes, lizards, turtles, tarantulas and alligators including poisonous and endangered species. They even have a nursery with a lot of baby reptiles. You can see the place in less than an hour but you can easily spend 2 hours or more here if you want to read about all of the animals. If I remember correctly, it cost about 6 chf. each to get in. If you are a reptile fan, definitely check this place out.

Jardin Alpin

Reviewed By ChristianJordan - Geneva, Switzerland

If your not looking for excitement but just to relax in a lovely environment, visit the Jardin Alpin in Meyrin, just 5 minutes from the Geneva Airport or about 20 minutes outside the centre of town. It accessible just 1minute off the Tram number 14 or 18, getting off at Jardin Alpin, dont go direction of Graviere or Meyrin Cité. As soon as you see Media Market or Franz Carl Weber, exit the tram and just north of those stores is a park, and there you will find this lovely oasis.

Meyrin Centre

Free parking is such a rarity that it is worth mentioning, although it is timed. Lots of shops, several restaurants, and banking facilities. Particularly attractive is the large (two-floor) COOP with good prices/quality for fondue and chocolates, even for euro-zone shoppers. Semi-annual sales make the prices much more interesting in the shops.

Theatre Forum

Reviewed By Zatash - France

As the name says, this is a theater with a cultural offering that changes each year. It can also host Exhibitions and or animations in relation to a show.
As far as the offering is concerned it is a large variety in terms of type (concert, theater, dance, circus) and audience (some are targeted for children).
They propose some creations and have collaborations with other Theaters in the Geneva area.
I do recommend to check their program.
