We took a five day Kruger tour: two days at Skukuza, two days at Gomo Gomo in Klaserie Game Preserve and one night in Hazyview after a panorama tour. It was very special to have a Kruger safari with Simon as a guide, viewing the Big Five and many more and also a more intimate stay at Gomo Gomo with more intimate types of safaris with sundowners and breakfast breaks. Our “panorama tour” was disrupted slightly by a strike by workers at the entrance to Blythe Canyon and God’s Window, but our driver/guide Mandla made sure we saw as much as possible and provided insights into South Africa’s economy, agriculture, and culture that were invaluable. Wild Wings staff enabled us to design a tour that suited our particular needs including a transfer to ESwatini at the end.
