Greywolf Golf Course

So what’s the best golf course you’ve ever played? For many people, after they complete the epic journey at Greywolf, they’ve got a brand new favourite. Located in a spectacular alpine setting at Panorama Mountain Village, Greywolf is a course that just wins people over, time and time again. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top-100 Courses in the World Outside of the United States, Greywolf is about as impressive as mountain golf gets.Designed by talented Canadian architect Doug Carrick, who has built many of Canada’s best courses in the past decade, Greywolf features several holes that will be seared in your memory bank for a long time. The dynamite collection of par-3s, capped by the diabolical Cliffhanger hole, is, unquestionably, one of the best in the world. With beautifully sculpted bentgrass fairways and hair-raising elevation changes, your round at Greywolf is going to be one for the ages.

Panorama Mountain

The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

A great weekend getaway from the city with the family. Be sure to stay at least a few nights to enjoy all the mountain has to offer. My teenagers skied and snowboarded and loved it. We cross country skied at Grey Wolf next door which has spectacular views. We soaked in the warm pools and skated at night and went for many lovely walks around the village and the river. Alto serves delicious meals, or you can order in. There are coffee shops, a snack huts up the hill, a grocery store, liquor store and a candy cabin! We absolutely love Panorama and have been coming for years. We noticed many improvements over the last few years.

Rk Heliski

For the past 43 winters, rk heliski has been sharing the magic of the Purcell Backcountry with skiers and snowboarders from far and wide. The rk Heliplex, home base of operations, is perfectly situated at Panorama Mountain Village, a short 20 minute drive west of Invermere BC.

From beginning to end it was a joy to have such an epic crew and staff working for us, for what made for one of the best days of my life. The intensity was sky high as were the safety standards that the pilot, Burt and our guide Jordy provided.(Without hesitation I would recommend requesting these guys! It made our experience that much better!) It was obvious they were having as much fun as we were.... except they had 10 lives to be responsible for. We will be back! Cheers! Pete Fazio

Outstanding cross country adventure, this is a must do activity when visiting Panorama. They have a new grooming machine that is first class. We rented skis and boots at the club house for around 25.00 and had a great time. It was my wife's first time out, but we will be doing it again, as it was simply outstanding going into the back country and having a lunch in one of the cabins on the trail. Thank you Panorama for such a great day.
