Reviewed By PurpleGal403I walked into the Hotel around 7 pm after driving over 3 hours from Saskatchewan going home to Airdrie. I was greeted by Abby who was amazing! Super friendly, professional helpful and explained the new rewards program to me! Such a gem!? My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It would’ve been nice to have a blanket in the room for extra warmth during the chilly winter night. The only thing that was a negative for me was that there was no elevator. Having a bad knee makes it difficult to climb stairs. I would have preferred a room on the second floor as they are usually more quiet. During my stay no one parked outside my room so no vehicle woke me up in the morning! Canalta Hanna is definitely my hotel of choice when travelling along the #9!

Reviewed By SmhollaStaying here for a short while until my things arrive from the east coast... it’s perfect! Has a kitchen (fridge, bar fridge, stove, etc) the bedding/pillows are AMAZING! They completely changed everything when they came in to clean - towels, sheets, even the duvet covers and shams on the beds!!! They also washed the dishes sitting in the kitchen sink for me while I was out at work!!! above and beyond, I’m very grateful. I’ve had a great experience, and to top it all off, they are pet friendly as well :) I would highly recommend if you’re staying around Hanna! 4 people can sleep in my cabin comfortably!

Reviewed By clem92018Although this Motor Inn is geared more to working crews in the area, we found it clean and front desk staff very pleasant and easy to deal with. The restaurant food was typical of small town cafe, nothing fancy but with sufficient portions. For the price of $89/night we would stay again.

Reviewed By MaltawomanNicely decorated, however there were dead flies all over the floor, the booking sites advertise an ‘exceptional breakfast’ which consisted of stale store bought banana muffins and banana bread. I think there were a couple of mini yogurts in the fridge and some oranges, apples and bananas. Also the bed was very uncomfortable as it had a sag in the middle. So the price was high to begin with for shared accommodation and then without a decent breakfast and bed, plus no relaxing bath for me because of all the dead flies we had to walk on.......not the best

Reviewed By astromac866My earlier review was not great, but since then I have stayed here a few times and things have certainly turned around for the better. The rooms are basic but very clean. Linens great! Beds good. Fixtures are good but the painted "cinder block" still reveal the old bones. The owner does sincerely try to accommodate his guests needs and this is very much appreciated. The room was warm (winter time here). Lots of plug outlets, which are usually hard to find in other motels. WiFi works great. One downside, please clean the a/c filters and bathroom fan filter, these detract from your really good motel experience I have had. I'm not a clean freak but these things are the basics. Overall, a really good upgrade from last time. Thank you.
