Tranquil and stunning place to stay in the heart of the oasis
Reviewed By saffyk13I stayed at the Maison La Berberina with my family while visiting friends in Goulmima. It was my highlight of my last Morocco trip. The place is clean and authentic. Simply beautiful. A fusion of traditional style and modern facilities. I had a wonderful sleep. Souad has done a wonderful job creating an amazing place to stay with class and style. A special thank to Rachid, who became our friend and looked after us. Definitely recommend staying here on your road trip!

Good value for price
Reviewed By TuiaService was welcoming and spoke English well. Room was clean, bed comfy and shower had really good water pressure and hot water. Heating cost 50 dh extra and it works well. Breakfast could have had more variety (2 breads, jam, butter and tea) but it tasted good. I would return.

Reviewed By willeminalunaOwner Said welcomes guests in a very hospitable way. The cookies with the tea are home made and supergood. The stories and pictures he shows demonstrate great care for the country and the people. The location is great, like others have written. Unlike what others commented, we found the shower and toilets rather dirty. Also the bed was very saggy. The room has no cabinet and the overall is rather worn down.

Reviewed By Axelle1408Maison d'hôtes dans un cadre magnifique. Saïd, le gérant, est extrêmement accueillant. Il nous a offert du thé et des cacahuètes/amandes durant notre moment à la piscine. Nous avons été invités à partager le repas de ramadan avec sa famille. Il nous a ensuite emmené sur une colline afin de voir Goulmima d'en haut ; puis nous a offert un thé en ville. Bon petit-déjeuner. Chambre et sdb propres. Mon compagnon avait l'accès au wifi alors que je ne captais rien avec mon gsm. Parking privé et fermé. Rapport qualité/prix correct pour le service reçu. Une adresse à retenir si on retourne dans ce coin.

Fatiha unlocked the gates as we arrived with a group of Land Rovers to find plenty of decent pitches, each enclosed by shrubbery the toilet block was fine, has a pool too. The restaurant was clean modern and tidy. I had a meal with her then joined the group outside on the terrace, Fatiha brought cushions for us. In the morning she also did pancakes for all the group at no extra cost! A very secure compound, with a farm ay the bottom housing goats..1 less after my visit..a donkey chickens and a very friendy but chained up dog. Quite a find! no doubt Ill come again to this camp site
