You won't leave the table hungry. The food was well prepared and tasted excellent. The girl who served us was very friendly. So a big thumbs up to her.

A Fantastic Stay
Reviewed By ONandRAB&B Altes Rathaus has been a wonderful place to stay during our short trip from the U.K. to the Rhineland. Anna, the owner, has clearly worked very hard to make each guest feel as comfortable as possible. The place is immaculately clean as well. There are many small touches which have made our experience here so comfortable and enjoyable - the free Nespresso coffee, the use of the wine bar terrace area even when it is closed, even Anna’s delicious homemade jam served at breakfast time. Assmannshausen is also much quieter and more relaxing than some of the larger neighbouring towns such as Rüdesheim. We really don’t want to leave! Thank you Anna and family for all of your efforts which ensured a wonderful stay for my husband and I.

Herzlich willkommen in der Pension Johanna in Assmannshausen. Unser Haus liegt inmitten des UNESCO Weltkulturerbes Mittelrheintal mit seinen vielen mittelalterlichen Burgen und Schlossern. Genießen sie bei einer Schifffahrt zur beruhmten Loreley die wunderschone Landschaft, fahren sie mit dem Sessellift zum Jagdschloss und laufen sie uber die Aussichtspunkte zum Niederwalddenkmal und schweben sie mit der Gondelbahn uber die Reben nach Rudesheim, von wo aus sie mit dem Schiff zuruck nach Assmannshausen fahren, wo sie den Tag auf einer der romantischen Rheinterrassen ausklingen lassen. Unsere uber 100 Jahre alte Pension verfugt uber 3 Doppelzimmer mit Rheinblick / teilweise mit Balkon oder Terrasse und verfugt uber einen Garten, in welchem sie den Tag bei einer Flasche Assmannshauser Rotwein ausklingen lassen konnen.
