We purposely scheduled our trip to Lausanne to visit the annual wine festival and it did not disappoint. Each vinyard that we visited was so gracious and hospitable, not to mention the wine was fabulous.

Bernard Chevalley has taken over the property of more than 2 hectares around St-Saphorin, a famous Lavaux village. The cellar is situated in the heart of the village. The biggest part of the work is done manually; the steep slopes and the many walls of our vineyards reduce the possibility of working with machines. Our vineyards face Lake Geneva (Leman), providing ideal sunlight.

Francoise - I grew up in Vevey and the Lavaux was my back yard. I now live in Australia but will be coming home for the summer of 2019. Janet - chef and restaurant owner from Portland, Oregon.
