It has been at least 10 years since we visited the winery, but we had sampled the wines plenty of times. We were the only visitors at the winery, which is a bit out of the way. Signage from the south was non-existent, apparently the victim of a plow last winter. Our host was cheerful and knowledgeable about her wines. We were given a free tasting (unlike so many places in the Kelowna area) and the servings were sufficient to actually taste and evaluate the wines (again in comparison to the half a thimbleful Kelowna area wineries provide). We sampled 7 and left with a half case of very good wine. Our favourite was the Ortega, which may become our house white. Visit and enjoy.

Great little place for a pleasant tasting. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend supporting this small business. Nice wines, beautiful scenery, and very informative.
5. All-organic Farmers' Market
The only farmers' market in BC made up exclusively of organic food vendors. Check out the selection of organic vegetables, fruits, eggs, German bread, Dutch pastries, and even organic beer! Held at the Askews' Uptown store every Wednesday from 1 pm - 5 pm.
