5 Dinner Theaters in Toronto That You Shouldn't Miss

December 23, 2021 Dorsey Hagwood

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

The Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA) was thrilled to be celebrating our Season Opener dinner with the amazing Diane Dupuy and her Canadian treasure, Famous PEOPLE Players. We enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by these exceptional young people before being WOW-ed by an outstanding performance in the Phil Collins theater. This was a truly special night to experience in this wonderful environment with amazing company.

We had so much fun! The dinner was good, lots to choose from and enjoy. The show was engaging and the actors are great! It is so intentionally cheesy and punny (get it)! Ha, I should be in the show. Honestly I haven’t laughed like that in a while and I think I smiled the whole time. I have to say the duchess and the detective were highlights for me! Honestly, the only way not to have a great time at this show is if YOU are the problem...don’t be a potato.
