Walker Studios

Walker Studios is a unique blend of fine art and jewelry. Visitors are welcome to wander through the museum/studio of artisans, Jeanette and Lindsay Walker. The Goldsmith techniques Jeanette are the ancient methods of sand-casting, repousse, engraving and granulation. As part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network, people are encouraged to meet the artisan, ask questions and learn about the creative process.

Confederation Centre of the Arts

Confederation Centre of the Arts is a national art centre showcasing the best in Canadian visual and performing arts. Stretching over an entire city block, the Centre houses a world class art gallery, Mavor's restaurant, a locally supplied gift shop, three expansive conference rooms, and a beautiful 1200 seat theatre. A library, an outdoor amphitheater, and spacious outdoor courtyard are also located on site. The Mack theatre is owned and operated by the Centre, which is located steps away.

We went to see the musical Anne of Green Gables The theatre was very modern with great views of the stage from all seats The show was excellent with a good performance from the leading roles

Loved the variety of local artwork in this lovely gallery. Anything from folk-art to modern works and nautical themed. So many wonderful choices - picking just one was tough! The staff was thoroughly knowledgeable about their artists and were able to share interesting anecdotes and background on all! Worth a visit!
