Drive down a single track road until it comes to an end which is a small free car park so arrive early; there was another car park at beginningof road however it charged for parking and would be quite a walk to get there. We arrived at 9am and had no issues with parking. A great walk along the river with mini waterfalls coming over the path which then opens up to see Steall Waterfall. There is a wire bridge to get closer to see it however there is a great view without crossing. We were lucky enough not to have midges even though it was warm and dry.

So close to the road but feels remote. Stunning waterfalls and viewpoint: we will be back. The more water the better sorbet a rainy day would be good

We visited Garve and did the Two Bridges walk, and it was well worth the small detour to do so. I highly recommend this walk. It’s a simple loop round fairly easy going ground, with plenty lovely spots for a picnic and great photo ops. Thankfully we had a lovely dry day for our walk but think it would also be great when raining and in full spate.

Beautiful walk along the falls. It was raining but that didn’t dampen our enjoyment or views. There are steep cliff drops however it’s not a requirement to go to the edge to get a full experience. It’s located at the back of the House of Bruar which has a cafe post walk.

Just a short walk from the main road on a well defined path (steep in places) opens to a well marked out viewing area and suspension bridge which affords you great views of the falls and the salmon leaping to climb it. Car park small and full of NW500 Campervans but well worth the stop.

Visited on a Monday morning in November so only one other car in the car park which was good as it wasn't clear where you were allowed to park. The gorge is stunning with good paths and great locations to view the gorge including the suspension bridge and viewing platform slightly further on. We made it a circular walk by taking the right hand gate from the car park and then turned right when we came back over the suspension bridge from the viewing platform.

We hiked from Whitebridge to the falls but you can drive here easily - there is a car park and public toilets so definitely worth seeing if you're driving through the area. The cafe across the road is also lovely! The walk down the stairs to the falls is quite steep so if you have accessibility issues it might be a struggle. The falls themselves are stunning though, you can see why great poets were inspired by the view. There is an upper viewing point and a lower, and on the way down you can find rocks with Burns' poem about the falls inscribed on them. Absolutely worth a visit!

We had a nice little walk with kids and dog through the village in a forest covered path to the falls, really lovely and the kids loved climbing on the rocks, definitely worth a visit, nice looking pub/restaurant opposite the falls

Hubby and I stopped in to see the falls and took the tweedmouth trial down through the forrest. Absolutely beautiful walk then up the path to the viewing platform to see the falls. We had been after a decent rainfall so the waterfall was pretty full. Really worth a visit and lovely drive to get there
