10 Villas in Seychelles: Best hotel deals for 2023

May 2, 2023 Randal Brittian

Sailing, diving, fishing and relaxing are the main activities for visitors to the 115 islands of this Indian Ocean archipelago. Mahé, Praslin and La Digue are the most popular islands. Mahé boasts 65 silver beaches, plus an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos in the tiny capital, Victoria. The Seychelles are home to UNESCO-designated sites, coral atoll Aldabra and Vallée de Mai, called the Garden of Eden. Creole is the main language, but English and French are widely spoken.

A charming & peaceful island

Reviewed By TheCuratesEgg

We spent 5 days here and we knew that there would be no wifi or TV in our room. It was such a good"detox"for us. We had 2 bikes and enjoyed cycling around the beautiful island and visiting the little farm which had a variety of well kept animals. There is a group of resident giant tortoises which we would see on our way to and from the restaurant. The staff were delightful and morale was very high. It felt like a truly happy community. Restaurant service was incredibly quick and efficient. The food was excellent and most came from the island. We stayed in a Beach Spa Cottage which was right on the beach. It was very private and the sand was so clean. The sea was wonderful for swimming. Denis Island is a very special place.

The best place you could find on Mahe!

The villa has amazing rooms, huge balconies and the most wonderful hosts. The breakfasts and dinners we had there were the best cuisine we tasted. The owners are the loveliest and most welcoming people we ever experienced. They are very kind, helpful and happy all the time. You can have a nice chat with them but they don’t bother you. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food they provide is truly more delicious than in any restaurants. We didn’t even go to any of them because we were so satisfied. I really hope to stay there again soon! Our group really loved living there! Hope all the bests for them!

Coco Bay Villa

Near Cote D'Or Beach

Reviewed By Bmmmm

Coco Bay Villa in Praslin is several minutes walk from the nearest beach, restaurants, shops, and the bus stop to Anse Lazio. The property itself is decent with its spacious rooms. The opportunity area is the maintenance. Some of the screens in the kitchen area which were meant to protect from mosquitoes were damaged. The aircon unit, which looked dirty, had no remote control; and was fixed to a single setting. The electric fan's swing mode didn't work; and the room could get too warm. Overall, we had an okay stay. We appreciated that someone informed us that another guest next door tested positive for COVID19, because the said guest had total disregard for the safety precautions. She would continue to talk to other people without wearing a mask; and she was out and about without any mask on. Per our understanding, the villa staff did their best to remind her to isolate.

I couldn't have hoped for anything better for my first Seychelles trip. The ocean view room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The al fresco restaurant on the terrace is charming and Georgette and the rest of the staff were more than welcoming and helpful. I travelled alone, but soon made friends to share excursions with, that's not difficult to do on such a small island! The hotel is in a quiet area of Praslin, next to a bus stop, but I suggest you hired a car if you want freedom of movement. The bus is by far the cheapest way to travel and see the entire island fairly quickly, i recommend you tried it. Villa Anse la Blague is a less than 15 minutes drive from Praslin ferry port.

when you hotel will be your prison

Reviewed By FoodloverCH

i got stocked there with a positiv covid test my family hat to leave and the hotel and their staff turned into a prison. First they have been very help full but when if turned out more and more that the covid test was wrong they did not spend enough efforts to get a second test. Even when the foreign and tourism minister called himself the hotel staff and owner completely obeyed the health department. And followed stricter rule that some of other hotels who also had forced guest with longer stay. The owner told me he is the owner of this property and the boss and the foreign and tourism minister is working for him. Anyway after a lot of efforts I was able to leave and the situation was not easy for me and the hotel. I can not recommend the hotel for a forced stay if you get also a questionable covid test. The wife of the hotel owner should better stay away from the property. Annick of the reception is nice and hard working but could have done much more when I put all the proofs together that something is wrong here. After much efforts and even the president of Seychelles got involved I was able to make a second private test and then immediately could leave.

Best location on Praslin

Reviewed By sesammuzi

We spend six nights at Bonnen Kare and we had a wonderful time. The house is very big, good for groups or a family and you find everything you need for cooking and for relaxin on the beachfront terrace! It was very clean and we felt at home immediateley. Chantal gave us a heartly welcome and supported us with advice and service during our stay. She even cooked us a delicious creole dinner for very fair money. Julie, the owner of the house (lives in Mahe) was very kind, supportive and professional - so we could enjoy our holidays without any troubles. A shop is 5 walking minutes from the house (on the hill), and no restaurants around. But this unspoilt and somehow isolated location makes it very special! Snorkeling in front of the door is perfect, although at some time during the year you may have seaweed around the beach - but that's nature. If you prefer tranquility and privacy then this is the place to be ?
