The garden pension Villa Mimi in Sopron, Hungary is located near Ferto Lake, only a few kilometres from the Austrian border. The villa was built in 1881 and has been extensively renovated and modernised in recent years. Today, it combines the traditional Hungarian style with fashionable, modern furniture and elements. Our garden villa is a friendly and cosy pension with six guest rooms and a large garden.

Reviewed By Laszlo GLovely Villa in a pleasant, quiet and beautiful environment. All the rooms are stylish inside. The lady is really kind and helpful there which is really great. Liked: the house is super for couples, families, friends. Fresh air, nice surrounding. To be improved: we were there in the autumn period with cold outside, heating is not the best. If youlike that its not so warm in the room, its ok, if not you should bring an extra heater with. Breakfast is in the price, however its not bio nor organic as stated on the webpage. :(

A szobák az emeleten vannak nagyon jó kilátást nyújtva. A felszolgálás és a reggeli nagyon jó volt, kedves illemtudó a pincér. A konyha pedig kiváló okleveles.

The beckoning, cosy atmosphere that we experienced during our first visit was surrounding us again... the birds singing, the merry choir of frogs, the moments spent laying comfortably on the terrace, the morning swim in the pool, the games, the talks, the wine tasting... It doesn't matter if you are here with your friends or with your family, it is sure that you will be able to relax here.

Peaceful place, wlecoming people
Reviewed By LarissaBudacaWe spent one night, part of our holiday summer trip. This is a kind of aristocratic old house, from 1888, nice rennovated and very welcoming. Situated in the middle of the agricultural area, surrounded by sunflower cultures. We had 3 rooms, one with nice balcony, 1 with a special area for kids (2 extra beds) and another one with a relxaing area and a hamac :). The hosts are very nice but they do not speak english - Google translate was of great help. Bed linen and towels spotless clean. Breakfast decent, with scrambled eggs, vegetables and cold cuts, as expected. They have some horses, to be admired. Wigi available for free. Closest shop is at 6 km away or bigger shopp in Szehervehervaver city at 26 km away. Recommended for families with kids , looking for relaxing holidays.

The rooms are really stiylish and clean with excellent amenities, the quality of service received was absolutely excellent. The garden is lovely with grill options where you can enjoy your evening away from the croud. Overall we were extremely happy and we will be definetly back in the near future. Do not hesitate to book room here!

Great accomodation for relaxing
Reviewed By Benjamin_BraunThe Hotel, which is in the old town of Tihany and has a beautiful panorama from the balcony, which is really romantic. A lake can be seen from there and the hills. The Villa is not so far, but not so close to Lake Balaton, it can be reached by a pleasant walk. The swimming pool was fine, it was clear and had a good temperature. At night it was lit , which was really nice and by a bottle of champagne - wich was given by the owner - we had a great and unforgettable night. The staff was polite and nice, helped us a lot by giving advices to discover Tihany and its sights. The meal was simple but delicious, everything was fresh and they could make us anything what we want. Summarizing the whole weekend , everything was great and nice, we liked every second during that time we were staying there. We recommend this Hotel those who wants to stay in peace and quiet and those who wants to relax in a beautiful enviroment.
