10 Traveler Resources in Montreal That You Shouldn't Miss

July 15, 2021 Milan Banda

Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

This one is located on the ground floor of an office building ...1000 centre de la conferences on Gauchetière. it was like $13 for the day to ice skate. it’s. small rink and there are lots of kids learning to skate on it. my fiancé and i went to have a laugh and skate around. really fun!

The most beautiful Christmas shopping market in the Heart of Montreal. there were hundreds of exhibitors offering everything from gourmet food and hand-knit mittens, from toys and crafts to décor items and wall art, to gorgeous jewelry, and sweet-smelling candles. I found fabulous Alpaca Socks, scarf & mittens as christmas gifts as well as the most divine chocolate truffles as gifts. The knowledge that all the exhibitors donate their sale proceeds from the Nutcracker Market, which is organized by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, will help bring the ballet to 2,800 sick kids and children from underprivileged areas. Unique Fabulous treasures and also a wonderful way to support a beautiful charity. If you are in Montreal in late November to mid December this is the place to find unique Christmas gift items. I'll be going back next year.
