The ferry crossing from just north of Mellieha Bay in Malta to Gozo runs a sleek and efficient service everyday from early morning until late evening. There is no need to book in advance, just return up and board. The crossing itself is very fast (around 15 mins) and ferries depart every 30 mins; so you never have to wait long. The walk on passenger cost of Euro 4.65 return is very reasonable. Note: you only need to buy a ticket for the Gozo to Malta leg; when travelling from Malta to Gozo no ticket is necessary just board the ferry.

We booked a Gozo tour on our trip to Malta and really enjoyed the experience. I made some changes to the itinerary offered on the Gozo Taxi Website and Darren, our driver, was extremely accommodating. Communication was seamless and we were met at the Mgarr ferry port on time and ready to go. Darren was the perfect gentleman, describing many of the sights and offering us a great insight onto the history of Gozo. Thank you to Gozo Taxis and Darren for a great day out! I would highly recommend!

Nice and easy way to get to Gozo from Malta. Operates nearly all day and night. You can sit outside on the sundeck and enjoy some drinks from the cafeteria.
