I booked Miwa's vegan Japanese cooking class for a 1:1 and it exceeded all expectations, it was excellent! Miwa came to my home in central Tokyo and brought all the ingredients and we prepared a variety of tasty vegan dishes together. Miwa is very knowledgeable, an amazing cook and I learned so much. She also gave me a supermarket tour which was incredibly helpful in identifying all the different Japanese products and answering my questions. I will definitely book another cooking session with Miwa again.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

Kamakura is a famous tourist destination visited by people throughout the year. The reason why Kamakura is attractive is related to the 12-14th centuries. At that time, powerful samurais were carrying out Japanese politics in Kamakura. The city is very prosperous, and buildings such as majestic shrines were built to show their power. When the politics in Kamakura is over, the popularity of the precious shrines and temples that remain in the rich nature will increase, and it will be revived as a tourist destination from the 17th century.
