Great place to choose for your Olkhon island trip
Reviewed By Ksenia DThis brand-new hotel is a hidden gem of the Olkhon island. We had an amazing stay for a great value: private bathroom with 24h hot shower(towels are provided), super soft and comfy bed, beautiful design and fresh wooden aroma in the rooms. Very clean! You can see that the owners (btw very nice, friendly and helpful family) are taking really good care of their hotel. There's a spacious dining room as well, you can ask the owner to use their kitchen fridge to store your food, to microwave it or get some boiled water - very convenient for a long stay. Breakfast can be provided for extra fee if requested - we had a fulfilling breakfast with a cold plate, omelette/porridge and coffee/tea on your choice, coming along with pancakes for the desert, yum! More than enough to get the energy for your adventures. The location is pretty close to the lake Baikal shore, so you can just take a walk to the beach. Hotel owners will help you to arrange different sightseeing excursions around the island. As a local, I would say that this hotel is the best option for your exciting trip to lake Baikal, so don't hesitate to book the place and start your own Olkhon story!

Reviewed By IliaNcSuperbly located at so called "small sea" and surrounded by almost naked hills. Stunning views of the magnificent Baikal. Very interesting trails and paths leading to all kind of views of the gorgeous and always changing lake. Sacred cows wondering around. Beautiful flowers. Colorful rocks. Fresh air. And bluest skies. One should be prepared for fast paced weather - can be very sunny and warm and one hour later all can change in the blink of the eye. Wind. Totally unexpected clouds. Rain. I never experienced such a dramatic changes. Very friendly staff at "Baikalskaya raduga" (Baikal rainbow). Nina Timofeevna, manager, was very helpful and thoughtful throughout entire stay at the place. Couldn't ask for more. I would suggest more places for bbq with windshield braking as it can be very uncomfortable and tiring during windy days and evenings and, as I stated, this is very common weather at the lake. Exceptionally grateful to my brother for convincing all of us and for arranging such a wonderful and very adventurous trip!

After an hour and a half of bumpy ride through local off-road terrain its green "lunar houses" popped up like fairy huts. They appeared to be quite comfortable inside - a WC, a shower with hot water, great insulation, a nice wood-burning potbelly stove, comfortable beds and even - surprise, surprise! - satellite TV broadcasting 99 (!!!) channels including English-speaking ones. Wi-fi was kinda slow, however, but it really was a trifle, bearing in mind all those achievements of humanity in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was not included in the price but, first, it didn't cost much and, second, home-made food just was yummy including dinners. All houses boast open-air terraces facing Baikal. Fascinating! You can also go down to the shore to take a dip but do not forget that water in this lake is always rather cold - not more than 15 degrees (Celsius) in summer. Still we had guts to make it! Поездка на Байкал, Малое море, остров Ольхон
Reviewed By _Z3822YAЭто очень хорошая гостиница на Байкале. Очень удобная, уютная, красивая. Тогот расположен в заливе на Малом море, но надо сказать, что дорога, которой ведёт от поворота на Малое море и остров Ольхон не очень удобная, так как на ней много камней и в конце идёт очень крутой спуск к турбазе лучше всего ехать на полноприводной внедорожнике. Если говорить про удобства, то здесь всё на 5. Номера очень просторные, убранные и уютные. Лично мы жили в четырёхместном номере и нам очень понравилось. На территории гостиницы есть кафе, где можно заказать завтрак, обед или ужин. Еда очень вкусная, сытная. В кафе можно докупить разные напитки, десерты, например мороженое, или что-нибудь другое. Про территорию: на территории есть большая волейбольная площадка, барбекю, баня, обзорная беседка на горе, пляж, пирс с пляжными домиками, а также разные развлечения. Итог: Тогот - это очень хорошая турбаза на Байкале: теплая вода, вполне хорошая погода и приятный отдых. Всем спасибо!!!

The best location for beach view
Reviewed By Qing L- Only 5mins walking distance to Baikal beach. It is the best place to see sunrise and sunset. - We are inspired by the host Ms Margarita's hospitality. For example, She prepared hot water at front of her house while we were back from beach in the early morning. It was cold and windy.

Reviewed By Archpriest Vyac... PTwo times have been here. Beautiful base for budget tourism! It's all on the shore of Lake Baikal. It is a warm bay "RADOST" - "Joy". In winter it is very quiet, you can walk along the mountains and on the ice, you can catch fish. In summer it is very beautiful and warm, many trips to Lake Baikal, to Olkhon Island, to caves, you can fish and ride a bike, you can walk in the mountains. Good hotels. Good food. With the children there are professional animators. Everything is very simple. You can fry BBQ on the street. Service in hotels is modest. Very convenient for young people. In this place the main thing is nature - Lake Baikal. Vyacheslav & Anna

Красота Байкала, тишина и нерпы
Reviewed By Olga_taichiВ июле 2018 года отдыхала на базе с друзьями. Жили в домике на 4 номера. В каждом номере по 2 большие отдельные кровати. По ощущениям, домики, как будто только что выстроены, с новым ремонтом. Местный персонал нам рассказал, что недавно был ремонт. Окна из номеров выходили либо на сам Байкал, либо на железную дорогу, которая проходит около живописных гор. Дорога туристическая, поэтому никогда не мешала, по ней в день раза 4 всего ходили поезда. Внутри каждого номера отдельный туалет, совмещённый с душем. Места много! :) Чистота невероятная. В общем холле дома стоял кулер с водой, холодная и горячая всегда была. Кроме того, мы пили воду из-под крана. Нам сказали, что она чистая и полезная. База находится непосредственно у озера. Спуститься к воде - пол-минуты. Место настолько чистое, что туда часто приплывают нерпы. На территории базы несколько беседок, большой открытый бассейн, площадка для игры в баскетбол, есть игровая с бильярдом и настольным теннисом. Ещё есть большой зал в отдельном доме, где можно и позаниматься спортивными упражнениями, и мастер-класс провести, и поиграть с друзьями. Вокруг очень красивая территория, с многотравьем и чудесным запахом. Гулять было очень приятно. А ещё железная дорога с тоннелями и живописными выходами к воде. Кормили, как в пионерском лагере: первое, второе, компот, чай, выпечка, на завтрак и каша, и блины - объедаловка! :) Персонал настолько душевный, что прощались, как с родными людьми. Обязательно ещё раз приеду на Байкал и остановлюсь в этом месте.
