This house is surrounded by nocturnal lounges, the Plaza de las 3 Palmitas (a square)… Also, all of the places of interest are quite close to the lodging, which can be seen from the spacious terraces that the rooms possess in the third floor, which offer a beautiful panoramic view of the city (beaches, mountains, the beautiful streets of the villa in the Museo del Caribe…) The Hostel and Restaurant Colonial Casa Vieja is located in the historical center of Trinidad. It is one of the most welcoming and cozy hostels in the city as well as one of the most recommended by tourists visiting this beautiful city full of life and culture.
Very very disappointed
Reviewed By Douglas WUnfortunately we are unable to provide a true and honest review on this Casa. as we did not stay here. Upon our arrival we discovered the owner had overbooked for the night of our arrival and did not have a room for us despite our confirmation by email that we had three nights booked. We took it upon ourselves to find alternative accommodations for our visit to Trinidad

MIGUEL IS THE BEST!
Reviewed By nina0417I was in Cuba on a school trip and we stayed with Miguel for part of it. Unfortunately I got severe food poisoning when I was there, but Miguel did everything he possibly could to take care of me and make me feel better! He got me food, checked on me regularly, and provided some much needed company. He is truly one of the nicest and most hospitable people I have ever met, and I believe anyone who stays here and meets him will say the same!! Besides being an amazing host, the entire house was spotless and well equipped for our stay. Anyone who stays with Miguel will be highly satisfied and sad to leave him like I was!

Reviewed By WOODY4832We didn't know what to expect. Booked for us by Cuban Travel Network - it was a real treat. It felt like the real Cuba. A lovely well maintained old Cuban house with a courtyard (breakfast!) and with a lovely family. Lia & Pachi are both fascinating musicians (and we were treated to their talents!) and with mum Mabel & Juan it was all a great atmosphere. And also in a good position. Loved our stay. (and Lia - pickies coming to you soon!)

It is a colonial house and has been recently remodeled and decorated in colonial style, has two rooms for rent in the second floor , each has 2 large beds, air conditioning, 2 fans, Mini-bar, private bathroom, hot and cold water 24hras, has a balcony, the other a large portal and have large terraces at the end of the rooms and above them with a nice view to the city and the sea, and 1 room in the first floor with 1 large bed, It is located on the main street of the city of Trinidad, only 100 meters from the old city center where La Plaza Mayor, Museums, The Church, "The Holy Trinity Of" The House of Music,The Canchanchara, The real howler Palenque, House of Trova among other attractions for tourism, 50 of the terminal VIAZUL, Coffee and internet "Begonias".
Great place to stay in Trinidad
Reviewed By ValentinaT1520We stayed at this Casa for 3 nights. It's a great house, with wonderful terraces and perfect location. Very close to Plaza major and all the central spots. Marledy was very kind and welcoming. The room was great, clean and very nice bathroom. Beach towel were also provided. Breakfast was awesome, with fruit and pancakes beside the usual stuff. And we also had dinner one evening. Highly recommended. Best restaurant in Trinidad , based on our experience.

Reviewed By LNGATLANDCasa Reguera is not just a casa particular. It is an extended family - from children to grandparents - who will do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We shared meals, stories, laughter, culture and dancing. They even went out of their way to prepare beautiful meals that catered to our vegetarian diet. Their place is ideally located at the entrance of the old town with everything you need next within easy walking distance - CADECA, public WiFi access, shops etc. It is clean and tidy and well-designed with a rooftop terrace for meals under the stars or just watching the world pass by. The rooms are well-equipped with air-conditioning, a mini bar, hair dryer and en suite bathroom with a great shower, a rare find in Cuba. We visited during the COVID-19 pandemic which was a difficult time for tourists in Cuba. However, this beautiful family welcomed us into their home and helped us through our challenges. Importantly for us, they spent hours on the phone with taxi drivers and airport staff to help us get home. If you are lucky enough to be able to book at Casa Reguera, don't think twice, just do it!

Probably the nicest rooms we stayed in all trip - recently modernised, clean, quiet, well located, great welcome and nice terrace. Recommended if you are visiting Trinidad.

The rooms and especially the terrace is amazing! The location is right in the center and breakfast as well as the dinner were really excellent. Can only recommend to stay there!!

Our hostess, Graciela, was charming and Staff was friendly; we all interacted well. Our daily breakfasts were quite fulfilling.
