Reviewed By Nicole WWe booked a two night stay in a star lodge and it was as excellent as we had hoped it would be. The lodge was very cozy, clean and contained everything we needed. The surrounding area was nice and very quiet and because there was relatively little light pollution, you could see many stars at night. The breakfast was excellent in quality and more than enough for two. We did not have dinner in the restaurantdue to corona restrictions, but the lodge itself had a microwave and two keramic plates, so we could easily cook ourselves. The people were very friendly and helpful. All in all we can heartily recommend this!

Reviewed By 980javieruIt was the worst attention I’ve ever had in my life In terms of accommodation. I arrived, and the guy was not there; I rang the bell and we saw him after 10 minutes with a really angry face. He asked for my name and said I needed to pay. I responded that I had already paid online, to which he said that he was not able to check and insisted rudely. I said “well, I don’t want to pay 2 times”, so he said “ then I’m not letting you in” i said well, your not being very friendly, I’ll definitely leave a bad review. He responded “ I don’t care, get out of here, there are lots of other places” I was really amazed, I’ve never experienced something like this before; such aggression was hard to take. So, I had to pay again, for a second time so that finally he could let us in since I was not going to find a new place at that point. He even charged me an extra 20€ for arriving after 6pm. Once we went to the room, it smelled like garlic and onion, but I didn’t dare to go back and talk to this man, since I didn’t want to ruin my family’s holidays, that by the way, were very affected due to this man’s aggressive reaction and attitude. I’ve just checked the ratings on booking.com and most of bad comments refer to the rude attitude of staff. The WiFi connection was terrible by the way. I strongly recommend not to stay in this place.

Quiet getaway in a beautiful B&B
Reviewed By Raphaella_dcThe location was great, quiet street and very close to two neighbouring villages. The rooms are beautiful and even with the covid distancing the breakfast in the morning was beauitfully presented and full of options.

Reviewed By amanda_cmrAmazing place. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Superb location. The owners are very friendly. We had some juice, sandwiches, crackers, cheese, milk, yoghurt, cold cuts, sweet spreads, eggs and fruit to prepare our breakfast in the room. Bike hire and parking was included in the price. We also rented a boat with the owners. Highly recommended.

Schöne Ferienwohnungen bei netten Gastgebern
Reviewed By Martin-StefanBWir waren jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal hier und haben dieses Mal in der Wohnung"Typisch Holland" rechts vorne gewohnt. Beim ersten Mal waren wir im "Flowers" links vorne. Die sehr netten Gasstgeber empfangen ihre Gäste sehr herzlich und in der Wohnung stehen immer frische Blumen und kleine süsse Wilkommensgrüße...:-) Die Wohnungen über zwei Etagen sind ausreichend groß und beinhalten alles was gebraucht wird, besonders die Betten sind groß und sehr bequem. Kostenlose Parkplätze befinden sich direkt am Haus, Restaurants und der Hafen sind fußläufig in wenigen Sekunden bis Minuten zu erreichen. Wir werden auch noch ein drittes Mal hier wohnen, denn zwei weitere Wohnungen gibt es schließlich noch kennen zu lernen.

Het bijzondere en unieke erf heeft 13 prachtige kamers van boetiekhotel niveau. Of u nu alleen reist of met een groep, iedereen vindt er zijn eigen plek. De kamers zijn verdeeld over verschillende authentieke gebouwen op het 3 hectare grote erf. Zowel binnen als buiten is het goed toeven. Tijdens uw verblijf kunt u gebruik maken van onze persoonlijke service. Ontbijt en diner worden bereid van lokale en regionale producten. U geniet van de rust en de prachtige natuur die zo kenmerkend is voor Twente en de Achterhoek.

Reviewed By SandraakjeWat een mooie locatie, prachtige omgeving en een leuke gastvrouw en gastheer. Een mooie, ruime kamer met een heerlijke douche. Koffie- en theefaciliteit in het gebouw. We hebben er op maandag- en dinsdagavond erg lekker gegeten met verse producten uit de omgeving. Het buitenzwembad ziet er heerlijk uit, helaas geen gebruik van gemaakt. Een echte aanrader als je op de grens van Twente en de Achterhoek wilt verblijven.

A very pleasant stay in a beautiful home
Reviewed By GaryandChris MWe spent one very pleasant night at this B&B. The room was quite large, the hosts very welcoming. The property included a nice garden for guests. It is on a quiet side street, about 25 minutes walk from the Hengelo Centrum (or 5 minutes by bicycle - free loaners are available from the hosts). It is also on a main bus line. I would recommend this B&B to any traveler, whether traveling by car or bicycle, who wishes a good night's rest, a hearty breakfast and no worries.

Very nice B&B
Reviewed By wvredeveldtThis B&B was perfect for us. The villa looks great and feels cosy and stylish and has forest views! Every room has it’s own shower (with shower gel and shampoo). You will also find a safe in the room. There is a shared livingroom. The villa is surrounded by forest, so take your walkingshoes and (mountain)bike with you (you can also hire a bike). A few minutes down the street is a little chocolate factory, where you can sit down and have a taste of the delicious bonbons, while overlooking the work in the factory. One of the owners, Lianne, is organising creative workshops. Check her website kleurrijkekunst.nl or ask her about it when your there! The owners are very friendly and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and excellent. You don’t have to be up at eight, you can have it at the time you like. You can also make use of the kitchen for diner if you like, or go out to eat.

Reviewed By da_mozzaSpent the weekend with my son in Nijverdal and we stayed at the Vinkenest. It's been a B&B for 1.5 years and is in immaculate condition and is very modern. We loved the breakfast too with some local delicacies to add to a sumptuous meal. The best part is the hostess Linda who takes pride in her attention to detail and ensuring customers satisfaction. She also is really happy to give tips on restaurants and activities in the region. A hidden gem! Maurice
