Mount Nebo Hotel & Restaurant

Exceeded Expectations

Reviewed By robertbK7154HP

I booked this hotel as somewhere to crash before getting a flight the following morning with limited expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable, close to the airport, on-site parking, bar that serves alcohol, restaurant with really good food and super friendly and helpful staff. If I’d been visiting Madaba I would have happily stayed here for sightseeing.

What a great place! Location and view is perfect. Small hotel with 8 very stylish rooms and the owners know what hospitality is. You feel welcome! Everything is perfect; communication, atmosphere, food (bbq was great!), information with regard to our Petra trip etc. Thank you, we loved our stay at your place and the back door trail was the best recommendation!

Great room and excellent service.

Reviewed By blimsters

Very pleased with my choice of hotel in Aqaba. The room was excellent, with a great shower and having a balcony was nice. The gentleman on the front desk (Ibrahim) was incredibly helpful. I arrived several hours early for check in, but he got a room ready for me very quickly anyway and brought me a coffee while I was waiting. When I arrived, he guessed my name without needing to check the computer, and recalled an enquiry I'd sent. Clearly had looked ahead at the guests arriving that day - things like this show someone who values good service. I asked if it was possible to get a PCR test in Aqaba (required for travel to Israel), Ibrahim made a phone call and someone from a testing lab was at my room within 10 minutes. Aside from one of the ridiculously over-priced resorts in Aqaba, you won't find a better place to stay, and certainly not for the price.

The people not professional at all they canceled our reservation without any reason

There is no receptionist almost all the day , and when we asked for extra bed the owner canceled our reservation and told us that he prefer to search for another place with a rude attitude, and there is a bad smell in front of the place plus the dust all over the place , and no hygiene.

Günstig und nette Menschen

Reviewed By Hazelbace

MoonRock Camp

Perfekt experience in the desert with an English speaking guide

Reviewed By 750nadineh

We were super happy with our whole stay at the moonrock camp. Mamdouh, our guide, picked us up at the rest house. We spent two nights in the camp, and did a half day jeep tour in the red desert area which was great, a bit touristy but awesome places and rock formations to see. On the second day we did a full day tour to the red/white part... There we barely see any other tourists, the views were fantastic and mamdouh explained and talked a lot with us. He speaks very good English and is a fun guy. He also cooked lunch for us in the desert which was fantastic. The camp was also great. There are Bedouin tents, you have light in the mornings and evenings. They cooked tradional dinner in a "sandhole" for us. We had a lot of tea, sat at the fire and enjoyed also the evenings
